3-4? Lol with who on the line? Smoot, woods, Bryan? Hamilton sub for woods?

That’s about as official as you could get.

I mean... Our SLB was on the ball basically every time he was on the field already regardless, so that doesn't mean much. Our SLB was typically always on the LoS whenever we were in Base already..

Maybe they plan on doing things differently in Nickle, or just going away from a true 4-3 base in general, but that tweet still doesn't provide much info in the big picture of things.

WIth the benefit of hindsight I think that our free agent signings were catered to moving towards a 3-4. It would likely look something like this:

LDE: Rodney Gunter
NT: Davon Hamilton
RDE: Taven Bryan
LOLB: Chaisson
LILB: Schobert
RILB: Myles Jack
ROLB: Josh Allen

Smoot will rotate in at the DE spots, and Woods will rotate with Hamilton at NT. I think this is probably our most effective lineup for the front 7 as far as maximizing talent to scheme to get our best personnel on the field without playing them out of position.

Yeah, that sounds about right.

Strange thing is at this point, most of our 3-4 depth has been allocated to the line, not the backers.  To that end, I don't think Bradley Anae would be a bad pickup at this point.

Assuming Yan plays this year, we have a decent edge rotation with Allen, Yan, and Chaisson.  In that case, we could still use a backup to Allen.  But if Yan continues his antics and doesn't play for us, we currently have no viable rotation and no viable backups for the outside backers.

I am also leery of the lack of ILBs.  I could see our starters being decent.  Freed from the constraints of calling the defense, maybe Jack will be more instinctive, but I don't like the idea of him having to take on guards.

Cassius Marsh.

I’m not sure what else you want them to say? How about this:
