How does everyone feel about the receiver Denzel Mims? Seems to have excellent hands, but I don’t know a lot about him.

I actually wouldn't be mad with Fulton honestly.  He's got really good tape.  Again his NC game was up and down, but that doesn't erase what he's done prior to that.  I also wouldn't mind Delpit, Blacklock, Josh Jones.  But I don't think they take Jones.  I think they are looking at an interior guy and are happy with who we have at the tackle spots.

I like him in rd 2, but he's somewhat inconsistent and doesn't really play up to his timed speed.  But I wouldn't be against him as a selection later today.

Thanks. Yeah he seems to lack elite separation on the highlights, but makes up for it with great physical, contested catches.

Allen Robinson 2.0

Excellent at high pointing the ball
Uses his body well to box out corners
Route tree is pretty limited
Tough dude, played 2 seasons ago with a broken hand
4.39
Struggles big time with press

Instant redzone threat, but will probably need a year to focus  on his route running before he overtakes Conley.

Can see some routes are good and some are bad and some are OPI, once he gets to RedZone drills and gets to run fades he is dominant. Also, I'm in this video 3 times lol
I want us to take DeeJay Dallas in the 5th or 6th.
Biggest needs: Offensive line, safety receiver, running back

Guys I like for 2nd round:

Tackle: Josh Jones or Ezra Cleveland

Safety: Mckinney, Winfield, Delpit, Chinn, Davis

Receiver: Mims, Pittman, Higgins, Shenault

Running back: Taylor, Swift, Dobbins, Gibson

Prediction: Ezra Cleveland (possible they even trade up like they did for Cam Robinson and Taylor)

If I were Caldwell, this is what I'd do today:

1. Thank G-D I still have a job. He should do this every day!

2. Do everything in my power to trade Yannick to a team picking early today. In addition to this pick, they also get a 3rd next year. Would like to get more, but not gonna happen and I want him gone.

3. Trade Fournette to Tampa for O.J. Howard straight up.

4, With the two 2nd rounders, I take either Cleveland or Jones with the 1st and Mims/Pittman/Higgins with the 2nd.

5. Take a safety in the 3rd. There is great value at this position. One of McKinney, Winfield, Delpit, Chinn, or Dugger. If necessary, trade up to get one of these guys.

6. Wait til the 4th round and take your running back there. Gibson, McFarland, Moss, Bellamy, Akers or Evans.

New additions:

Henderson- # 1 corner

Chaisson- edge rusher

Howard- rotational tight end

Cleveland- eventual starter at left tackle. Can play anywhere on the line except center.

Pittman- Tall receiver who should be great number 2. Also excels on special teams.

Chinn- Great value for small school safety.

Antonio Gibson- Exciting running back who can also catch a lot of balls.

Late round depth: Add another receiver, linebacker, interior lineman and developmental q.b.
A guy that's still out there who I think would be a great 34 DE and can slide inside in 43 looks is Auburn's Marlon Davidson. I'd really love that pick. Good against the run and can pressure the QB. Epenesa is still out there too but might struggle inside, not sure.

Dude pushes way too much
Van Jefferson is a guy i would like in the 3rd, is 1A to route running in this draft class. Only problem is he is 2 years older than alot of these guys

Both Van Jefferson and Mims have had high level interest from the jags this offseason. Could definitely hear their names called later today. I’m a fan of VJ myself.
Hypothetically if Swift falls to our 2nd round pick?? Would y'all take him?

If Harrison Bryant is available in the 3rd would y'all take him??

1.- No
2.- Maybe, depends on who is available

1Smile No.

Still a lot of depth at RB take one at the end of Round 3 if you want but I'd wait til one of our 4ths/5ths.  I still like Winfield/Delpit/Blacklock over Swift (and I like Swift as my #1 RB)

2Smile Maybe.

Depends on who else is there as that might be the prime position to jump on a WR/OG instead of TE and we have Eifert signed...get Oliver back healthy (could just view this as our TE pick this year).
- OT Josh Jones (surprised he is still available)
- DT Neville Gallimore
- S Grant Delpit
- WR Tee Higgins
- S Xavier McKinney
- C Tyler Biadasz

Someone else said it earlier, but I think Caldwell is happy with our Tackles and isn't going to use a 2nd or 3rd round pick on one - in his mind we already have two high-2nd round Tackles and for whatever reason (Taylor showing some promise coming off an up and down rookie season and Robinson now 2 yrs removed from the knee) he doesn't see the need to upgrade.  I'm not even sure any of the remaining Tackles are an upgrade - if we were going to upgrade, it would have been with one of our 1st round picks.  I would like to see us get Robert Hunt from Louisiana - he played both Tackle and Guard but projects as a Guard and should be an upgrade over Cann.  He'd also be someone that could fill in at Tackle if needed.  Not sure Hunt will last til the 3rd round, and not sure he projects at the top of the 2nd round so we'll see. I'd like to see us pick the best WR on our board and Hunt in the second (would need to trade back into the 2nd for one of them obviously).

As for trading Yannick for picks in this draft, I just don't see it happening.  He would have to sign the franchise tender and the team trading for him would have to agree to terms for a new contract - not that it can't happen - I just don't see all of that occurring in the span of a few hours, especially if he is still wanting top DE $$.
Asked the Bryant question because apparently the Pats like him or Kmet at 37
Winfield or Madubuike please.
All I know is PSAs and Extended commercial breaks will follow our draft selections again.
Don't the Jags already have their LF replacement in Ryquell Armstead?

If they are eyeing RB, wouldn't they be looking a for speed 3rd down type back?

Unfortunately, you may be right about Caldwell's thoughts on the offensive line. They have reportedly shown a lot of interest in Cleveland and they will need a 3rd tackle in case of an injury to Robinson or Taylor. Hunt would be a good pick in the 3rd, especially since he can play guard or tackle. As far as Yannick goes, I agree with you that it's unlikely to happen. With the drafting of Chaisson, Caldwell may back off his 1st round demands. We'll know for sure by about 9:00 pm tonight.
