I would guess he's opposite Josh Allen on third down.
Of course we should all pray to the football deities that they even get to third down...
Word has it that the Colts coaching staff is in a frenzy with all of our changes. Look for them to be totally confused. They know they can't stop James Robinson so I'm going to assume they'll let him get his 200+ rushing yards while the attempt to contain the rest of the team.

Conversely, they may load the box and sell out against the rush.
Meet James Robinson

I could see Robinson like Arian Foster

Good lord dude.

Slow down. He hasn’t even played against a real defense in a game yet.

And neither did Arian Foster until he did.

Its what his style looks like to me. They say he is a good blocker and if he can hit the holes thTs in front of him he will be better than LF

Forget that,

He is like Earl Campbell and Marshall Faulk combined.

Won’t be shocked if this team goes undefeated with the way some on this board are hyping up the players.

Marrone and Wash are still here with what might be the youngest team in the league. Bad coaching and a young roster usually spells out a really bad season.

THAT would be a HELLUVA combination!

One that would seemingly defy the laws of physics!   Laughing

Of course, if it's possible for such a player to exist, I hope he plays for the Jaguars, even if they would get rid of him in the prime of his career.   Wallbash Laughing
Can we hold reserve on our doom and gloom season until a few games are played. Is that ok espn?

These are the last days of the offseason, where everyone is still in the hunt.

This is going to be a long agonizing year for Jaguars fans.

Hopefully, we will go undefeated and win the Super Bowl.

But chances are, it ain't gonna happen.  Chances are we will suck mightily.  If so, hopefully it will result in the first overall pick belonging to the Jaguars in 2021 in a draft class that contains a true franchise QB that whomever the Jags Brass are next draft are capable of identifying, willing to draft, and have the coaching to maximise his talent.  Hopefully we also get enough help around him to succeed.
This maybe the last time the team is above .500 in 2020.

Who did we beat to get above .500?!?

Big Grin

Sorry...had ta bust your chops a little.

Coudn't resist, though I know I will open myself up to similar treatment.

I expect nothing less!

But I get what you are saying and agree with the sentiment generally.  This may well be the last time we see .500 this year.

This is exactly right. In 2017 who really went into the season thinking would be in the AFC championship, or even in the playoffs?

While we have a ton of youth on this team, we also have a lot of experience where it counts. We have an experienced offensive line, linebacker core, And experience on an otherwise very talented receiving unit.
I hope James Robinson is the best RB since MJD.

Me too.

My son came out walking around in his MJD jersey yesterday and asked me why MJD doesn't unretire and take Fournettes spot.   Laughing

"He's only 35 dad, thats not old" Sorry son, i disagree. I feel it everyday lol

Sure would be nice to have MJD in his prime right now.
If Robinson pans out as a credible threat, I like the run pass options he presents. Imagine, a whole new dynamic to our offense.

Be still, my foolish heart.
Listened to JR's college coach talk with the local radio guys yesterday.
I was already excited to see what Robinson can do, and now I am more so.

Interestingly - he coached O'Shaugnessy as well.

This will help our secondary since opponents simply run up our gut.

I watched his highlights and one thing stood out, he's not very quick in NFL (or even SEC) terms.  His cut backs were good against FCS competition but he definitely didn't have any resemblance to starting NFL type RBs.  Perhaps 32 other GMs saw the same thing as they passed on him 7 times each since he went undrafted.
