Please don’t give me the “too much talent” speech.

Offense has Robinson and Chark and Minshew sometimes; but even then they can’t score consistently.

Accounting for an unexpected upset, which always happens, for better or for worse; this team is looking at 2-14.

We’re heading for another rebuild and it sickens me to type that. This fan base and this city have  suffered enough

This is one of the youngest, least experienced teams in the league, and a weird COVID year that limited pre-season reps only made that worse. This was always already a rebuilding season. I don't understand why so many people are stunned by this. And injuries to the most talented players will worsen the results by magnitudes.

The only really bad thing is that so far the vary majority of the "if this happens" have not happened, and it is somewhat limiting a fair evaluation of Minshew. Still, it's only 4 games so far, and this is a very young team. The guys that can stay healthy should be much better by the end of the season, even in spite of a suspect player development team. But this season was always really about 2021. I know that stinks given the last 20 years, but it is what it is.

Also the whole "the fan base has suffered enough is stupid". I had a front-row seat to an owner stealing my childhood football team out from under me. It could definitely be better, but at least its football.

I’ll admit, watching your team being moved is worse.

But this fan base has been enduring rebuild after rebuild for twenty years now, and we’re about to be asked to do it again (average rebuild is 3 years in nfl) ; a bit of a bitter pill to swallow I think

The Kahns has to stop overvaluing "consistency". It probably works in the business world he has been a part of, but it really doesn't in the NFL. I just keep getting the sense that neither of them truly understand the ins-and-outs of football (and given Fulham that is both American and futbol).

I mean why else decide to bring in Coughlin to "figure things out".  Why else would they keep letting staff/coaches stick around at a rate unheard of in this era of the NFL. At this point, I don't know who they can go to for help who they can trust. But they need to find that person, to head next GM and HC search.

We need to bring in John Dorsey. He has helped build the Chiefs team what it is and the Browns that is off to their best start in years
Maybe bring in Bill O'Brien. He's available.

Dorsey ain't no saint and definitely made mistakes. He should have never hired Kitchens.

That Chiefs team is due to Andy Reid. Is doesn't become potentially dynastic and those players don't become fantasy stalwarts without Reid's play designs and playcalling. I don't see another HOF head coach that Dorsey had previously worked and will likely be available this off season. (Biggest miss for Kahn. I still have no idea why he didn't hire this pair instead  in 2013 instead of Caldwell/Sprinkles.  Especially if wanted experience, consistency, and make the franchise look like they knew what they were doing.)

The Browns have a 3-1 start against a really soft first quarter schedule and only 1 team with an average defense. Let's see if they can actually make the playoffs first. Plus he was only able to acquire all that talent because the Browns basically pulled a 76ers Process to acquire a lot of draft capital that Dorsey was able to use.

I wouldn't be able to watch Jags games anymore if that happened.

Who ever said he was perfect?  No GM is perfect.  Who do you think brought in Andy Reid?

You know Dorsey isn’t the GM right?

Veach took ever in 2017 and he built this roster.

Dorsey is a bum and he’s a retread like Gettleman. Get new blood in here instead of recycling guys.

100% agreed.  New blood is needed.  There are 3 guys I really like:  Scott Fitterer with the Seahawks, Champ Kelly with the Bears, and Joe Hortiz with Baltimore. I would love any of those guys to lead this franchise into the future.

If he was a GM on another team we wouldnt be able to bring him in would we?  Once again you dont know what you are talking about as usual.  Dorsey brought in Reid and the core of that Cheifs team other than Mahomes.  Drafted some of the best players in the league and stars like Kelce, Hill, Jones, Fisher. Signed Schwartz etc.  Has pretty much built the built the Browns team into a contender and could find us a real coach, far from a bum
