Should I continue to watch? I believe I'll watch when they are not struggling. How? Well I have this little radio and can tune into the game. I know that will mean one less viewer on the TV count but it is what it is. Do they and can they count radio listeners? hmmmm
Even Mark Brunell is throwing his hands up.

Win, lose, lose, lose... you get my point. Our situations on both sides of the ball aren’t the best and haven’t changed, and it’s continuing to fail the team. I take time every Sunday to watch the team and I’m almost constantly left disappointed. So it leaves me asking, “Why should I keep watching this season?” Or “why should I look forward to the next game?”.
Watching a loss is better than not having any football to watch. If you can, I recommend going the DVR route. Being able to start mid-way or so and blip past commercials, delays between plays, etc provides a much quicker path to the inevitable end.
I'm going to keep watching because I get to see guys like James Robinson develop. I get to see whether or not Minshew establishes himself as 'the man'. I get to see recent draft picks and free agents to say whether or not it was a wise decision. I get to commiserate with other fans who sat through the loss, and be able to say something more in-depth than "coach is a farthead and has been a farthead since forever, he should be fireded into the sun."

You stop watching, you miss chances to watch Shenault steamroll another DB or 3 on what should be a short gain.
Meh... As frustrating as this team is and losing sucks. This is my team. I ain't a bandwagon jumper and I ain't no quitter. When I'm able to watch, I will. Though as the season progresses I will definitely go out to bars to watch less as the losing stacks up. If they make it on TV here I'll watch.

Call me a glutton for punishment. This is my team. Win lose or draw. But I can't really string together much of an argument to convince anyone to watch. If you wanna quit on your team, become a fan of another team, or just stop watching and be a fan from afar... There isn't much I can say to convince you otherwise.

All I can say is... that ain't me. I wear my Jags gear and support my team, despite who is at GM, HC, or QB...
I don't say much to defend myself when people ask why... I just say they've been my team since day 1 and the only thing that changes that is relocation probably. Being bad is reality for about half the league every year... and some franchises have been a factory of sadness much longer and more often than we have. Bengals, Lions, Browns... lots of teams... The Saints were the Aints forever until they got Brees. It only takes one season to turn into a decade of good and enjoyable games... I'll keep patiently waiting for that season to happen. We were pretty good from 96-2002, making a couple runs, which is better than some franchises can say.... We were "this" close in 07 and 17 only to crash and burn. One day.... I keep hoping... it'll stick.

Describes my attitude fairly well; except I just don't watch rather then get frustrated with the insanity repeating itself.

I will say if no changes are made after this season (this is assuming the Jags don't miraculously pull a 7-9 season or better out of their rears) it will make my jags loyalty hill harder to die on. No way to justify that to other fans who will inevitably ask me: "why are you a Jacksonville fan? they continually lose"; those other teams who are factories of sadness like us, yeah, they are BUT....they at least tried to change it up; an argument can be made, at least for Cleveland, they tried too much or too often, not having patience needed sometimes; but by golly, they at least tried changes with staff, GM's, and drafted QB's rather then neglect the position as we did for far too long. There is no scenario beyond the miracle of progression this year that should justify the retention of Caldwell and Marrone. To me, it sends the message they don't care about winning, nor the fans. We have crossed the line that Cleveland didn't get to, which is patience, but not too much patience.

For cripes sake, we just became the first team in NFL history to lose three straight games to winless teams. I feel as if the team takes "setting the bar lower" as a personal challenge.
I give it maybe 1 or 2 more seasons (not saying I’ll watch all the games) and if there isn’t any improvement/change in our team then I’ll either watch a different team or just stop watching altogether. It’s getting tougher and tougher to watch...
I can understand not wanting to watch as you do become a bit jaded but would never agree with the idea of switching teams or anything like that.

Obviously reloaction can be a factor in the US and the NFL whereas that isn't the case for our football teams in the UK for example but to me, you should support your team through thick and thin. It will make it that much sweeter when the team does get its act together.
I will be a Jaguars fan for life as long as they are in Jacksonville. I will never give up on them. That doesn’t mean that I have to watch every game, though. As somebody who’s been watching this team since 2010, you could argue that I’ve seen probably the worst stretch of football that any team has had to offer. However, I owe it to my mental health to watch a little less when they’re playing this poorly.

It sets a bad example for your personal life too. Think about it: this team changes coaches, GMs, and we still suck. It’s like no matter what is changed, things stay the same. The rest of life DOESN’T work that way, and we shouldn’t normalize it. Jax Jags for life, but as a fan I’m seriously fed up. I don’t believe that Shad Khan has what it takes to assemble a winning football franchise. I believe that the issues start with him.

Say what you want about Weaver, but I’ve done my research on this Franchise. Our stretch from 2000 to 2010 wasn’t much either, but at least we had a few winning and playoff seasons, as well as a better head coaches. We were at least competitive. This team now lacks any fight, fire, or passion. I believe that stems from the failed culture that has been set in place by Shad Khan. He’s a world class business man, he has increased the value of the team tremendously. But he doesn’t know crap about running a football team. And I believe THAT is the root issue of our Jacksonville Jaguars.
Changed my mind guys.
I'll keep watching to see just  which game we lose that  will finally
inspire Khan to finally start firing these guys.
I don't blame anyone who doesn't want to watch this crap. Having said that, I'll watch every game lol.

Might force myself to find a #2 team though.

I’ve supported the team through thin and... we’ve had some good seasons here and there but I’m just not motivated to continue watching this season. At least not this season.

It would be hard to not watch the jags, but it’s been a failing organization for a while.
I'm one of the original fans from the first season, but even I've gotten worn down by the losing.  It would be one thing if there was an effort made by Khan to improve the product on the field, but when you keep Marrone and Caldwell around as long as you have then it's clear you're more concerned about Lot J instead of winning games.

Shouldn't be any surprise really, look how long Gus lasted...
It’s difficult enough to watch a perennially bad team. It’s another to watch a perennially bad team which continues to set NFL records for losing. We are, quite literally, worse than any team in the history of the league in many aspects. We are setting the standards for defeat.
It's crazy how the Jaguars have managed to achieve and set new records for losing.
Why does this owner and his staff get enough of this embarrassment?
I mean.. Who doesn't love watching a clown show..

I can't speak for the masses, but if Khan doesn't make wholesale leadership changes after this season, I am done with this franchise.

I"m an OG 1993 Jag Fan here.   I am getting to this point.   This team is like in eternal purgatory.

Dont' have your hopes up.  My guess is Todd Wash is the fall guy this time with Bologna and Caldwell staying next year.

Khan will just smile at the camera with his 70's porn stache and say the same old rhetoric about commitment to winning.
It would be really nice is the Jaguars showed some mercy on the local population by showing the Steelers-Browns game here instead of the Jags-Lions.

I go back to '93 too. Personally I'll never abandon the team as long as they're in Jacksonville but my enthusiasm has definitely ebbed to an all time low. It's very tough to be a Jags fan, not many other fans have had to endure this year over year mediocrity like we have (although there are some).  Mrs. hb grew up in New Orleans and they had a stretch of 20 years where they were pretty bad but at least they eventually had a pay off and became a competent franchise. I don't see any light at the end of the tunnel for us right now with the current ownership/front office.

Well, in that sense, we're good at something then!

In all honesty, as someone who has been with the Jags since their inception, it's definitely been tough to watch the past few years. Personally, my enthusiasm for the NFL in general waned to the point where I stopped watching games at halftime last year just because of how bad the games were (and still are) called by the zebra's.

That's in addition to the numerous gaffes we've committed both on and off the field in this recent decade.

But for some reason, even though I'm borderline apathetic to our cause this year, I'm still somewhat intrigued by what our future holds with the type of draft capital we had last year and have this year. I guess that's the only thing fans of perennially bottom-dwelling franchises can cling on to. But, I'm not fully invested to the point where it ruins my Sunday if we lose - I'll just shut the tv off and do something fun without batting a thought about the game.
