This

If Khan keeps Baalke....
I'm not even entertaining the thought of keeping Baalke.

Yah.  I want to change the mailman there too.  Everyone out.
Some of us need to face the fact we may be dead before the Jags become a .500 ball club.

That would be awesome if we got to run the draft.

We would fail to get the card in before time elapsed because nobody wants to move off their guy.

Then, we'd spend the next year pointing out why we shouldn't listen to person X because last year they wanted the other guy, and he turned out to be mediocre.

Good times.

"With their 1st pick of the 2021 NFL Draft, the Jacksonville Jaguars forum makes the most idiotic short-sighted selection in the history of the team. Some of us tried to talk sense into the fanboys with stars in their eyes, but noOoOoo, they had to go with meaningless numbers on a low ceiling player. *sigh* But anyway..."

^-- this guy gets it.

I think jags should hire FBT as the new GM.

So even thought he has a track record of success, and has only been here a short time, he shouldn’t be considered at all? I’m not directly advocating for him, but I won’t have a meltdown if he ends being the GM either.

I think Baalke's success with the 9ers was pretty minimal. He was fired in Jan 2017. Their rebirth under Jimmy G and the elite D started after his departure.
He had his hands in the good Jim Harbaugh/Greg Roman/Kap years... but that was pretty short lived. By 2015 4 years after he was hired they were trash. And Baalke hired Tomsula and Chip Kelly as successors to Harbaugh.

Personally... I'm in the "no retread" category of fans.
Give me an up and comer, some new blood. Not some GM that has had some mild success yet ended up not panning out elsewhere.

“Who are you?”

“I…I’m the assistant equipment manager.”

“Get out! You’re fired!”

I like dodds from the dolts. Big part in seattle and now with the dolts. High energy guy who seems like a take no crap guy and highly values winning. My top choice as of now. Hunt is second.
Only guy I'd even consider keeping is Keenan.

Me too. I wouldn't be surprised if the next regime retains him.
Dorsey is apparently linked to Bienemy.

Not sure how I feel about that. Love Bienemy but not a fan of Dorsey.

Hopefully he's not there only one who could deliver us Bieniemy. He is by far my favorite choice for our next HC.
