Disagree completely. We should have been mad when academia sterilized the president who sent his brain trust to study fascism, then implemented its key economic tenants and put Japanese Americans in internment camps by changing the definition of the word.

there's a difference between missing a shot, and not taking a shot at all.
Facebook is monitored and moderated. Not as well as it could be. They miss some stuff. but they do catch a lot of stuff.

Parler was taken down because they were legitimate competition to "big tech" and they didn't silence free speech. Anything said or typed that is not in line with the left is considered "hate speech".
You shouldn’t believe everything you hear. Nothing criminal was allowed on Parler, and plotting an insurrection would definitely fall under “criminal”. Big tech targeted them, for the same reason that only conservative viewpoints are fact checked. It’s all about controlling the information that’s allowed to get out and nothing about “safety” as they try to claim. Period.

An Idaho ISP blocks FB and Twitter due to censorship. About 2/3 of their customers called and wanted the social media companies banned so the UPS company said they would. Folks who still want access can call to set it up.

Just don't make up stuff and you won't get fact checked. It's not hard.
People who vote one side are more likely to follow faith rather than science and therefore more susceptible to fake news that they want to be true.
Fact checkers are a joke, dude. Any critical thinker should be able to see how slanted it has become. There is nothing in our current climate that is sacred except power.

Fact checking wasn't really even a thing until Trump came along and started making stuff up every other sentence. It shouldn't even be a thing but then you get people believing nonsense conspiracy theories.
