Stating fact is now considered racist and will result in termination, even if you aren't the one stating the fact.

As a father of young kids I always worried in the back of my mind. What if my kids are smart enough to go Ivy League or Georgetown, etc.... How will I afford it.

Cancel culture is easing my worries, because state school in Florida is looking mighty fine right now.

It will be a yuge bigly success! Conservatives will flock there cuz they won’t be banned for being conservative, and the left will be attracted to it like moths to a flame.

I wonder if this will affect Twitter stock.

Quite the opposite, let them speak as much as they want. Banning dissent is a leftist tactic.

I doubt it, Trump isn't exactly known for having a great business mind.

Another bankruptcy on the way! Unless he's bought some good real estate under the company.

This doesn't make any sense.
So all of a sudden since Trump announced that he's going to release his own social media platform, both Facebook and Twitter are going to consider overturning Trump's ban.. Once this social media platform really kicks off, both Facebook and Twitter stand to lose millions of people and accounts.

The back pedaling has begun..
No doubt the white nationalists will flock to it en masse, but I wouldn't be shocked if his new platform eventually goes the way of parler.

That's assuming it even gets stood up in the first place.
Well, the NYT published a hit list of corporations for activists to go after. Who knew corporate America could lack a backbone to the degree that they are bowing to these people.
Now they're trying to go after Home Depot.

Church leaders seek Home Depot boycott over voting law; Gov. Kemp pushes back (news4jax.com)

Home Depot is playing it smart and simply not responding. If corporations would grow a backbone they would discover these boycott threats are toothless.

Liberals don't shop at either for the most part, they can't fix anything themselves. Homedepot is just being smart, they have been stupid in the past and it's hurt them.

I prefer Lowes because the workers are generally better but lately they have been slipping to HD level.

If anything is hurting HD, it's the price of lumber and building materials in general. I'm not really sure how builders continue to operate with these prices.

The market is insane right now and it is inevitable that people who purchased homes within the past couple years will be underwater on their mortgages when the market adjusts.

The price increase in lumber last year raised the cost of building an average size house by $10K. The new build consumer will feel the increase for sure.
