Yeah, he might as well. 2009 wrecked him for endorsements and he's not playing well enough or frequently enough to be relevant enough to be a spokesperson for any product anyway, so why not take the billion?

He's got it made. No need to tarnish his legacy by joining a controversial start up league.
He can spend time with his kids - bounce between his amazing homes - oversee his multiple successful businesses and prepare how he wants to for the tournaments he wants to gear up for.

With inflation higher than 10% and portfolios down 25 to 30%, a billion doesn't go as far as it used to. Take it El Tigre!
