This is why fans are not GM's. Are you forgetting that we had no run game and the worst special teams in the league? Those 2 factors by themselves would have prevented use from making the playoffs.

Nothing hindered the offense and team more than the inability to sustain drives with basic completions, the inopportune turnovers, and worst of all, the seemingly weekly pick sixes.

Now that Dopey Gus is gone, Bortles is the primary thing holding this team back from winning games.

I'm gonna go off the deep end.  And say Lets go Fournette, who ever, who ever and in The fourth Round of the 2017 Nfl Draft The Jacksonville Jaguars Select Josh Dobbs.  QB Tennessee.  

 

Just because it is different.  And he is under rated big time.

this board is very light compared to tons of others.   And yes cowboy fans are very emotional. And wouldn't care about fantasy stats if their qb averaged 4 wins a year over 3 years.  Tony, Zack who ever.  They want him gone like yesterday.

Draft Watson and move bortles to te. Did you see that catch against the tacks. He's basisly Gronk.


I hate this board sometimes but it is fun to say stupid stuff, Most of us on this board utilize that very well.

While I'm not for drafting a QB in the first round this year, I've got no problem drafting one every year in later rounds, like the fourth.

If Watson is gone next man up and I agree.  Evans, Dobbs, Petter man, or who ever.  Maybe they see something special in Allen who knows?

Well, we haven't really seen what Allen can do. Next year, if Bortles falls flat, we should have no reservations about giving him a shot.

I agree with this

wouldn't want to mess up the shot at the top pick in next year's draft when there will be a larger number of QB's coming out... (yes, a bit of sarcasm there.... I hope we don't get anywhere in the top 8 picks next year but if it happens... best case scenario... nab one of the top QB's...)
