Quote:Watching the pats and tinhorns game. That is coaching. We have a coaching problem...

I honestly feel like Houston is trying REALLY hard to channel it's inner Jacksonville. Meanwhile, Belichick could probably win 10 games with Charles Barkley under center...
Quote:After checking out the Patriots tonite I'm more convinced than ever that Gus Bradley is the worst coach of all time.
History proves you wrong.  He's the 2nd worst coach of all time.  There was someone worse statistically.  He's only 169 out of 170.

Of course, there's no guarantee that Khan fires him any time soon, so Gus could catch up and achieve that record.

Whoooo hoodoo, what an achievement!!  We're worse than the Browns!!!
All you have to do is look at this game as a perfect example of what coaching can do for you. Up 20-0 against a raining defending division champion, with your 3rd string QB who had never taken an NFL snap before tonight. Gus can't even muster a win with an absolutely stacked roster, from top to bottom.

It is hard to even count the last guy. He was the owner and coach lol. He wouldn't give it up, you are literally better than a guy who was so unqualified he is dead last and no one could fire him because he owned the team. That is embarrassing. Gus is the worst in my book.
Wow, tonight's Patriots game shows what a team can look like with superior coaching. I was not 100% on the fire Gus bus, I am now.... #FireGus

Yep, 3rd string QB, 2 rookie O Linemen...

New England plays greatly on all levels but looking especially at the Patriots defense and thinking about ours...makes me so sad.

They are always superbly prepared, in position, well aligned, know their assignments, disciplined they can get creative with their blitzes and are always there in coverage. Even when they miss key starters like Ninkovich and Hightower or like when last year they lost Revis and plugged in immediately Butler. Chandler Jones has character issues? Who cares, send him to Arizona and they'll find other ways to affect the QB. So much respect for the way that team is coached.

Then I look at ours, after 4 years with a "defensive guru" and well...you know the story.

I can only imagine what Belichick could do with versatile and fast players like Fowler, Jack, Ramsey, Telvin and the possibility to move them around.
New England wins to the tune of 27 - 0.... in Houston... with a rookie 3rd RD QB making his official NFL start. That's all you need to know about how well a head coach and it's staff goes about preparing it's football team and setting it up to be successful. Nobody could have predicted that outcome last night. Not in Houston with a rookie QB going up against that defense. And at the end of the night, you're sitting there going "Well, doesn't really surprise me at all because it's Bill Belichick". That's what a good head coach does.

The game was in New England.

A good offensive line, a top 5 defense, and a QB who doesn't turn it over can very well "luck" into a Super bowl. Look every NFL QB is good, even

the ones we boo. The difference in the very bad and the decent is usually a good offensive line and coaching. Seems that our Ex QB Gabby who was such a loser

with this staff and our turnstile line is doing alright now.

Now take a slightly above average QB like Eli, great receivers, solid line, and great defense and he can "Luck" into rings, if by luck we mean an average

QB getting a ring. Which is exactly what he is, an average NFL QB who was in a position to get a couple of rings not based on any superhuman talent on his part.

If it was all about talent, Peyton would have more than Eli. If it was all about talent at QB then Dilfer wouldn't have a ring.

But not sure what this has to do with coaching.

Back on topic, Gus is bad, and the only way HE is getting another ring is a position coach somewhere.
