I am also praying that these rumors of the Steelers taking RB at 24 is true.
The Raiders let go or lost 4 of their 5 starters on the oline. I'd say oline is the favorite at 17 by a good margin. Tucker, Darrisaw, or Jenkins will be the pick for the Raiders
Heard a rumor today the Falcons and Ravens are talking a trade for WR Julio Jones.

Say whaaaat?!
That would be huge. My guess is a 2021 1st, 3rd and 2022 2nd/3rd?

I know the Ravens are pretty desperate for WR help, but Julio Jones is now 32 and had a lot of injuries last year. I don't think the ravens would pay THAT much for him. Besides, I heard it from a youtube blogger, not necessarily one of the mainstream sources.
It was an interesting rumor, but i don't know how much there is to it.

If they trade Julio, they may as well trade Matty Ice, too. Draft a qb and start the rebuild for real.

I can see both sides of this argument. Jones is at the age where it makes sense to trade him. By the same token, he is still good enough to create all kinds of mismatches, and would see less double coverage if they added Pitts.

They can't trade Matt Ryan. That's the thing. If they trade him this year, the falcons would sustain almost a $27 million cap hit. They have to keep him through 2021.

If that’s the case, it makes no sense to me why you would trade Julio Jones. Still one of the best wide receivers in the league. Use this year to fortify your roster. Then if you were determined that you must have a new quarterback and it Julio’s got too much tread on the tires, then you do it at a financially opportune time. It’s not like the Falcons don’t have holes all over their roster. Just draft BAP. Or as close to BAP as you can get.
I’m loving the draft coverage on NFL Network. Makes me wish Ettiene would drop to us at 33. Kinda like what I see out of Williams at UNC at 45.
Although, two OTs in the second three picks would also make me happy.

It's always about the money. If they keep him on the roster, he's a 23M hit this year, and his salary is fully guaranteed. If he's showing wear, it's a good idea to move on if you can afford to. If they trade him, he's 23.2M in dead money, so they would basically eat 200K in exchange for any picks or players offered by the other team, and likely bring in his (cheaper) replacement a year ahead of time, or they are confident that Ridley can take over as the primary target.
Think of it this way - they had Ryan and Jones for the past few years, and have next to nothing to show for it (a lot can be said about Quinn's role in this, mind you), but if Smith is leading the team in a less pass-happy direction, I get the notion of moving on today rather than waiting a year when it may be a savings to move on, but nobody is willing to pay the price to acquire him.

They've had great offenses, but their defenses have been terrible. They couldn't stop anyone. You can't lay that on Ryan. He's consistently been one of the better QB's in the NFL, his entire career. Last season he threw for over 4500 yards with 26 TD's and 11 Int's and completed 65% of his passes and Julio Jones only played 9 games. Ryan has never been the problem. If the Falcons were smart, they'd take the BAP or trade down and spend the rest of the draft trying to fix that defense. Giving Ryan a receiver like Pitts would offset the fact that Jones is in the twilight of his career.
I don't believe this one at all. It's just some Packers' fan's hoax, hoping he/she can wish it into existence. I can't say I blame them though.

What is it with Belichick? Over and over he keeps trying to make a QB1 out of second rate talent acquired on the cheap. If it weren’t for Brady, he would never have won a Super Bowl. He seems to try too hard to show he’s a genius.

I don't know how much there is to this, but if there is a lot to this, the only thing I can say is sometimes desperation can make you do things you shouldn't.
Meanwhile from Pro Football Network...
Which offensive lineman could be in the frame for the Jaguars?
Finally, I expect the Jacksonville Jaguars to address their offensive line early in the draft, including the center position sometime on Day 2. In fact, I’m told the player they covet at the pivot is Ohio State junior
Josh Myers, who could be their pick at the top of Round 3.

I think we get a guard before center. We still have Linder next year but both of our starting guards contracts wil be up.
