You wouldn't think so, but so far J Rob has been gone for 3 games now and ETN has had 25 touches, 27 touches and 30 touches in those 3.
He doesn't do well with numbers.

Yeah, its 3 games. I dont think Doug is stupid I think hes just figuring everything out and trying to get that win and the monkey off the teams back and the best way to do that was use ETN as much as possible. We got the win now and Trev is playing better

Taking Wrs in the top 10, in recent history has been pretty fruitful. I mean look at 2021, Chase/Waddle/DeVonta Smith. Even this past draft, Garret Wilson has looked about as good as he can with a bum QB.
I can't think off the top of my head every top 10 WR in the past 10-15 years, but AJ Green, Julio Jones, Mike Evans, Amari Cooper all come to mind. All very good players. Obviously because of how deep the WR Pool is in the draft, you're more likely to find gems in the later rounds because duh, theres hundreds of picks vs 32. But the elite guys are typically the ones who work out.

Yeah. Not arguing for nor against taking receivers early. Find a football player wherever and whenever you can. Just found it interesting with the breakdown in the video. Reminded me of Vic Ketchman saying WR's were a "dime a dozen", yet, we've struggled to find anybody remotely near Jimmy Smith and Keenan McCardell over the years. At least on winning teams.
I have been hyping up Quentin Johnston as our RD1 target inside the top ten out of TCU though and I think they should double down and figure out a way to land AT Perry out of Wake Forest or Dontay Demus Jr. out of Maryland. Same for the TE position. Big fan of Michael Mayer, Darnell Washington, Zack Kuntz & Sam LaPorta this year.

Let's play the game then. If given the choice, in hindsight even, of drafting Tony Boselli, Barry Sanders, Megatron, Warren Sapp, or Deion Sanders who are you taking?

Well I can tell you who my last choice would be…. Barry.
Boselli Megatron and Deion clear top 3 for me. Really tough choice.

Probably Prime then Barry for me

The smart answer is "depends on who I currently have on the roster, and which of the five fill the biggest hole"
in a vacuum, Boselli, Sapp, Barry, Megatron, Prime.
Get the big guys early. Gotta wonder how much more Barry and Megatron would have accomplished had they not spent their careers in Det. Prime was two-sport guy who wasn't available for the first month or two of each season and didn't tackle.

Deion Sanders. In his prime he was better than all of these players listed above. Played on Superbowl winning teams, had some epic clashes with Jerry Rice. Added value to your special teams as well.
Also. John Randle > Warren Sapp. Had you thrown Ray Lewis into this scenario I would have MAYBE been tempted to select him over Deion Sanders. MAYBE.

I just picked 5 who are in the Hall not necessarily who I think is the best ever or anything.

Bocelli, Prime, Sapp, Megatron, Sanders

Barry Sanders? Absolutely
Tbh, right now for one year I would take Kelce over any of the WRs
D-line all the way. Get a guy who gets sacks at the end of the game and you can hold on to leads. 30 years ago one elite O-lineman was equally valuable as one elite D-lineman but with Dom Capers style defenses now the norm, the O-line is only as strong as its weakest link, not its strongest. But a D-line still gets a lot of value from one elite player in the right situation. Give me Sapp.
I'd take Lawrence Taylor and Reggie White over any WR

Those guys were monsters. Hard to argue against this. This is making me want to start an NFL All Time team in the other forum now. LOL.
