Wish they would give Johnson some burn because he looks pretty good out there.

Wasted pick. Should have been OL.

Yeah, I don’t understand the criticisms of Bigsby when he hasn’t had many chances to prove himself.

(maybe that's the plan...seems to be the MO, get em cheap, grind em to the dirt, lather, rinse, repeat)

There was one play in the late 3rd, maybe early 4th quarter against the clots last Sunday where Bigsby was in at RB.
Standard Shotgun with Lawrence and Tank was next to him. Anyways, the clots were showing blitz, and Tank picked up the blitzer so that Lawrence could deliver the ball.
Bigsby is raw and has some issues with rookie mistakes. But he proved he can pass protect and he's made some decent plays. I mean, you take a RB in the 3rd round, get him some more reps to spell your stud.
Heck, even when James Robinson was our go to back, he'd take several plays off to rest. I'd rather have ETN here for 7 years than just 4... Dude is such a unicorn athlete.

Clearly that's the mentality. But I think that mentality is short sighted... Just my opinion. There aren't ETN's in every draft...

Sure there are.

He’s got very good vision, is lightning quick and is much more of a physical back than you expect. I just hope we don’t make the mistake of overworking him. Need him fresh for the late season push and hopefully the playoffs.
He is all of those things indeed. The one knock, as they were discussing on The Drill this morning, is that he's not very good in the Red Zone, even back to college. We really need to fix the short yardage and Goal to Go situational plays, we need to get the ball in the end zone when we get close.
