That's what I'm afraid of. We have several guys on the O-Line who are in the last year of their deals, bad starters at OT and zero depth. Despite this, I think we're gonna ignore the position. I see us having to draft 2-3 O-Linemen in 2022 just to patch together a starting rotation.
I think we’ll go with Moehrig at 33 and god knows at 45. I hope a WR, I want a sexy pick.

Anyone any ideas what we’re thinking at TE? We can’t go into the season with James O’Shag and Manhertz.
Between 33, 45, and 65 they HAVE to be looking at TE. It's been such a glaring weakness since, well ever. Freirmuth, Hunter Long, Brevin Jordan, Tommy Tremble are all there and available. They're going to snag one of them today. I hope.

Was Etienne BAP or nah?

On my board no, but it was on there's. I'd take him over Rondale Moore though

I think, once you get to pick #65, you need to take the best available players, because as the draft goes along, there are fewer and fewer good players available.  I wouldn't take just any TE just for the sake of getting a TE, when there may be a safety like Richie Grant, or a DT like Alim McNeill.  From what I have read, Friermuth would be worth it at pick #65, but I'm not sure the other TEs you listed are worth that pick.

These guys didn't go to Clemson.
The right pick is Jenkins and that means we won't take it. Moehrig and Barmore are both acceptable.
Ugh can we please take Ojulari or JOK?
I believe the Jaguars will initially trade down to Miami or Atlanta since both need a good back and Jevonte Williams would fill that need. This would enable the Jags to stay in the top 5 in round 2 and get an extra pick. I'd prefer Atlanta since the Jaguars only drop 2 spots and could possibly get the Falcons pick at the top of round 4. If they covet Williams enough, they might just go for it. That pick could then be used to trade back into the 3rd round later on.

As far as my preferences in round 2, any two of these would be great:

Teven Jenkins
Elijah Moore
Trevan Moehrig
Liam Eichenberg
Spencer Brown
Rondale Moore
Pat Friermuth
Azeez Ojulari

I agree but the deal would need to be really sweet. This first pick of the second round is really valuable.  I wouldn't trade back too far as we do have our own needs.
If we go offensive I want Jenkins or Elijah Moore
If defense I want Barmore or Moehrig

Unless we protect the edges of the O-Line, so Lawrence can have time to throw and Etienne can find room to make long runs, this offense will not work in 2021.

"JOK"s on you, we need speed.

(If this is the pick, I shut the TV off, find a new hobby, and never look back.)

I think you're not giving enough consideration to overspending on OT in free agency.

Depending on how 33 goes, "Does anyone know what the FO is thinking" may be a common refrain. Wink

Only thing I hate seeing is a 'run' staring on a position and once we get past the 3rd you're running out of commodities to trade up/snag YOUR guy unless you start mortgaging future picks. Im super high on snagging Friermuth either at 33 or 45 because I just don't think he'll last any longer than that.
Moehrig or Jenkins at 33 but I expect something dumb.

At 45 I'd love Eichenberg
EDilla seems to think it’s Tyson Campbell.....

That would be baffling. Another guy I like but woof
If we can pick up someone on the OL, a power pass rusher and a TE or Safety, I'll feel a lot better about Etienne.

Maybe we trade back a few to pick up an extra 3rd round pick so we can hit those spots. I just don't have much hope that the players we're all talking about will still be available by the time we get to Round 3.

Do you agree it's possible that a player or players we aren't discussing could possibly adequately address the some of the positions you mention?

Is it possible that not every position can adequately be addressed in this draft, even if we spent the 25 on something other than RB?
I like watching you guys melt down. I love what Urban is doing so far. An offensive tackle can’t score points.

No need to trade Cam to draft Cam. The fall off or uptick is not worth the time and effort. Urban is getting the playmakers and it’s about dang time.

An offensive tackle can’t score points? Good grief.

Better take a kicker then because they can score points!
