No need to trade Cam to draft Cam. The fall off or uptick is not worth the time and effort. Urban is getting the playmakers and it’s about dang time.
An offensive tackle can’t score points? Good grief.
Better take a kicker then because they can score points!
Cleatwood I respect you as a long timer around here, but bro we can’t build it all in 1 draft. It’s true BAP time baby.

Did Tony B "score any points" for us? I get an OT doesn't carry the ball in, but man is this a terrible take.
Will we need any OL next year? We only have 2 of the current starters under contract and 2 of 3 backups.
After thinking about it, I think our best move is to try and trade down from #33 and pick up some picks for the 2022 draft. The very best OT's are pretty much picked over except for Eichenberg and Jenkins and we still have a chance to get one of those guys at #45, so why not trade back a few spots and give us some added fire power for 2022? We may need more future picks to trade up next year, as the 2022 draft class at this point, doesn't nearly look at deep as this one. It would be a smart move for a team in re-building mode, like we are.

Who said build it all in one draft?
The notion that an offensive tackle isn’t useful because they “can’t score points” is a very very bad take.

Tony is a Hall of Famer. There are no Tony’s in this draft. I see a bunch of Eric Fisher’s and Cam Robinson’s in this draft.
ET is going to be a stud muffin. Trevor will show your guys that he can get the ball out and the offensive line will be sooooo much better.

What a completely clueless take! Do you even watch football? OT's allow the QB the time to sit in the pocket and make TD passes, they open running lanes so that RB's have the holes to run through to score TD's. They protect the health of the players behind them so we have our star players on the field when we need them. I guess in you view, they are useless? Good Lord!

It’s BAP in its truest fashion. ET was the best player available.

Starting to wonder if Balki Bartokomous isn't actually our GM.
Don't be ridiculous!

First point, Tony should be a HoF I agree. He also contributed to putting points on the board. Most of the grief ppl have with that comment isn't taking a stab at ETN, it's dismissing one of the most critical positions in football because it doesn't touch the ball.
ETN is on my team and I hope he has an awesome career. I would have taken Jenkins at 25. We have another opportunity to take him here (or another high quality player at a high impact position). If they choose another skill player, I would say that they are having a poor draft. It doesn't mean that player can't be good, but the use of resources should be questioned. Taking glamour positions high in the draft at the expense of big bodies will eventually get a regime fired.
Jenkins can play multiple spots on the OLine. Would like to get him, gives us flexibility in case Cam or Taylor doesn't hit next level

I would play Jenkins strictly at RT, which is fine, because Taylor is the biggest liability of any starting position we have right now. I don't think he would be as good playing LT, but he should easily beat out Taylor at RT.

If he's right I like the player but man either they plan to move someone to safety or CB will be a crowded room. Deep but crowded.
Dilla also said Barmore has off the field concerns (seems the report by Breer was right after all).
Let's see what happens...nothing else we can do.

Couple other media outlets are saying Campbell too.
Man I hope not.
Moehrig was my desire @ 25 but he's available @ 33. Nevertheless whomever we draft will be alright w/me.
Time Will Tell.
NH3...

I don't get it? Meyer said he wanted to get 4-5 starters. So far we have a starting QB, a part time starting RB and if we take Campbell, depth at CB. I don't see Campbell winning a starting position, unless he supplants Henderson and that would mean both our 2020 first round picks were very big reaches. Campbell is a decent enough CB, but there is no way anyone can convince me he is the BAP left on the board. I don't even think he's the best available CB.

I'm with you but at this point nothing would surprise me anymore.
I say trade the 33 to the highest bidder cause I think they're drafting Cosmi or Carman and I hope Jevon Holland than Mohring. Holland would be the number one safety if he was bigger and he is more athletic than mohring

That would be baffling. Another guy I like but woof
This would be an epic fail. we don't need another corner.... like, at all!

This is my exact thought!
