Mezcal.. got sick off mezcal once or twice.  I think the worm in mezcal is more of a caterpillar since it's more considered moth larva..

I, do not consume worms.

My friend has me in a bad habit of drinking top shelf tequila.  I am currently on a Don Julio kick.

Well if worms aren't your thing, there's a brand of mezcal called Scorpion Silver..

They cut off the barb..

Mezcal > Tequilla. I have a tatoo of the Monte Albana worm. No mixers and no chasers.
