Chaisson has only played a year, in a system that didn't benefit him.

No, that's not the reason they drafted Campbell.  The reason they drafted Campbell is because in the modern NFL, you need more than 2 starting-quality corners.

I think the possible reasons they drafted Campbell include, but are not limited to:
  • need for depth - as you've stated, it's become more and more an apparent requirement to get through a season
  • Henderson was not this regime's pick and there is some uncertainty swirling around him
  • Griffin may not have been signed with the intention of him remaining the starting #2 corner beyond 2022 (or even 2021) His contract has an out after year 2
  • He was ranked as highly, nearly as highly, or better than other viable options on their board
If you want to make it all because of one notion, that's fine. I don't agree that there is a single reason behind that decision.

Yea, could literally be anything.
Von Miller has invited Chaisson to his annual pass rush summit, that will be held in Vegas. Von will provide knowledge (and gather insight) to him and other young players. Hopefully attending this summit will benefit Chaisson. I think it will be good for him to soak up knowledge from a vet like Von.
