PS  Numerous people simply walked in, while Capitol police did nothing to prevent their entry.

And numerous people are now in jail for their crimes that day.  Some have been convicted.  I don't understand your question.

Yes, political prisoners of a corrupt regime.

If you're going to call those guys political prisoners, then Benedict Arnold was just a dissident.

LOL... wow... you expose yourself as an ignorant partisan hack every time you post something. At least TRY and do some research yourself instead of parroting MSNBC and CNN... Good Grief.

Deep diving on mumbo jumbo that confirms your biases is not research.
You have to read stuff you agree with and stuff that you disagree with and see who is actually keeping their story straight.

NO, CNN and MSNBC are nothing but PROPAGANDA MACHINES FOR THE DEMOCRAT PARTY. I choose to think for myself and not be brainwashed by halfwit T.V personalities

Is the choice between Democrat and Republican really a choice? There may be two sides to every coin, but what connects them is the coin.

William Melvin “Bill" Hicks, comedian [1961-1994]

Fox is the exact same thing.  You can't claim that you think for yourself, and then bring the exact same clown shoes opinions as a million other Hannity fans.   Remember, Tucker is legally not allowed to call his show news because he spouts so much fake [BLEEP].  Same as Maddow.  Neither of them are news.  Both are propaganda.

Two things can be true at once. They can be propaganda machines, but the sites you frequent might not be accurate either. It's hard to be disciplined in this era of information.

LOL.  I'm not sure how to make it any easier for you, but here goes.
You said "When a perimeter is breached at one side, the men manning the other sides have to fall back to another defensible position."
The question is, why a defensive force would necessarily have to abandon secure positions that are holding simply because a breach has occurred at another position?

That's why I don't like to call people names or hate them because they  believe something different.

And 2 things can be false at once.

Yeah, it would be good if we could remember that we're all human beings on the other side of the internet. It is very hard to not fall into team politics.

Are we?

I kinda imagined Bob Ross as some kind of wanna be alien warlord dressed up in a funky Edgar suit.

If good guys are holding a perimeter, and some of them fail, then the remaining good guys will soon have bad guys both in front of them and behind them.  They have to retreat to their next defensible position before they get surrounded.
Insurrection

The liberal idea is what the mostly peaceful protest at the Capitol was on January 6.

The actual thing is what the current regime allowed to happen in Afghanistan.

The two are not the same.

You really have no comprehension of this type of tactical situation.

PS  Apparently math is not your strong suit.  FYI the smaller the perimeter, the less required to surround it.

You're misunderstanding what I'm saying.  We would need a whiteboard to sort it out.  You should probably let it go in the meantime, and be less quick to judge the math aptitude of a person with a master's degree in engineering.

I do admit difficulty in understanding that which makes no sense, or reasoning that follows no logical progression.  I am, however, quite capable of sorting it out in a mental image, but feel free to use crayons to help yourself.
There are countless possible defensive scenarios.  To state that when one side is breached, other sides must necessarily retreat is simply ridiculous.   To give you a football analogy, that's like saying when a defender gets past the O-line on one side, the other side should stop blocking.
