Haven't taken a snap in 8 years...how old is he? In that time away has he worked on things?

I remember when I was young and playing basketball, I couldn't shoot a jumper for shosh. Now in my 40s my jumper is butter. 20 years too late lol.

I have no feelings toward Tebow, pro or con. I'm not a gator fan.

One of the worst questions I've ever seen in this MB  Laughing Laughing Laughing

I have to agree with you here..

Dang that would be crazy reason to subject our franchise to ridicule.

But now suddenly Timmy 'Lemar' Tebow is the guy. SMH

There are Jags fans on place like Twitter who want Gardner to give Tebow his #15 number. Even going so far as saying they hope he's traded so that can happen. Some fans/people have been very disrespectful towards Gardner and he doesn't deserve it IMO.

Also, regarding the title of this thread I don't think that QB will end up being a QB on the team. Then again.... I do wonder if Meyer will somehow try and help him make the team. As mentioned in the other thread Tebow's jersey is already selling on the Jaguars website. That seems to me like they would like to keep him around.

We already have four QB's on this team. And I had posted in another thread that the Jaguars were trying to get Jeff Driskel to meet with them. He ended up choosing to sign with the Texans. He is another one that has connections to Meyer as Urban recruited him to Florida. If he had joined the team I do think that at least one QB would be traded/released. I think that could still end up happening. Though, I hope that Tebow doesn't end up taking a QB spot regardless of who may be traded/cut.

I wonder if that might what they are trying to do. I have seen some other talking heads, I think either Shannon Sharpe and/or Colin Cowherd speculate about that when it was first reported the Jags were interested in signing Tebow.
There are three guys on the roster (including Luton) who are better QBs than Tebow. There are dozens of unemployed TEs with fresh NFL experience who are better than Tebow too.

Meyer helped Etienne and Luke Farrell get on the team.
No doubt he will help his boy, Tebow!

Urban Meyer doesn't have friends, he has family.
Somebody said luton? Oh that was hard to watch last year. PTSD. He did have a nice bomb td I liked. I still would like to see gardner be the back up

this franchise is awful.  They steal all of the good feelings by doing stupid stuff constantly.  Anytime we get any player they ruin it or ruin them.  This team ruined a once in a decade trip to the playoffs by being a bunch of scared coaches.  They are blowing the franchise first of having and executing on the selection in what appears to be a generational talent and then they have to play patty cake with a conversion product for almost a month.

Stupid, Stupid, Stupid

The main advantage of having a rookie QB is a rookie QB contract. It allows you to spend on the rest of the roster for a few years. This season we are paying Lawrence $660,000. Minshew is getting $890,000 and Beathard $2.1m. That's nothing for 3 QB's. The Chiefs are paying Henne $1.6m a year.

Hes a solid backup whos proved he can win games and is cheap. Its everything you want in a backup QB.

I understand. My issue is they way they handled Minshews rookie season. This franchise made a stupid signing to sell some freaking jerseys. They are not serious about the product on the field. It has been years now since Kahn took over and they are clueless.

I know how stupid my comments seem but jeez is it too much to act like a franchise that wants to win?
I will say he looks like a tight end

I hate to say it, but that's the first thing I thought when I saw the video..
I hope he makes it to preseason and does good. Good luck trying to tackle that guy
Tebow been getting ready? That 85 looks good on him

Completely agree. I said a few days ago I wonder if Khan is looking at the Tebow signing purely from a ticket sales perspective. We were one blown call from the SB and spent the next 3 years destroying that roster. The team last season is the worst I've seen us have, way worse than the Gus days.

Just look at a team like the Bucs, they stunk for years with Winston then get their act together, signed Brady and an experienced HC in Arians, improve the roster and they win a SB.
Awful take #2,670 - How Tebow will help this team.

I have the best take as to how he can help.

Stay home.

I hate to say it, but that's the first thing I thought when I saw the video..

Looking the part and playing the part are two entirely different things.

So then who gives a [BLEEP] if he looks the part? You could find thousands of people on the street who look the part, but they have no business being within 100 feet of a football field. Doesn't mean jack.

If only that'd help prevent this franchise from continuing to make stupid decisions over and over
Tebow got signed tears are flowing for some. Sorry..... life goes on
