Free Cuba?

I'll take it.. What's the catch?
I would gladly trade one ten BLM "activists" for every Cuban that wants to immigrate here.

This is a perfect example of a double standard on their end that spits in the face of their moral posturing, and gives away the end game.

Are you referring to the BLM statement?

I'm referring to the Democrats position on the entire issue. They are sending people back who cross the border... why? What makes one immigrant different from the other? What makes Cuba different from Guatemala or Mexico? The only possible excuse that makes sense is that Cuba does not want it's citizens to leave, and the US is simply honoring that request. HOWEVER, that is the textbook definition of political asylum, which is the only reason we should be fast-tracking people into the country. Democrat leaders do not operate on any moral principles. Period. Not AOC. Not Bernie. I just want center left people to start abandoning that ship. It's entire platform is built around power.

I think you have your timeline confused.
When Obama became president, anybody who reached US soil from any direction could claim political asylum and remain in the US while their claim was processed.
Towards the end of his term, Obama ended the wet foot dry foot policy for Cubans, sending them back even if they had landed on US soil. Trump continued Obama's policy, and also instituted a "remain in Mexico" policy for people who arrived by land, sending them back to Mexico while their claims were processed in the US.
Biden is continuing Trump's policy, with the exception of children under 18 arriving by land.
Now this is confusing because a lot of Democrats talk like they want everybody who gets here to be able to stay, but you have to be able to tell the difference between what they say and what they do.
Yeah... that's it. I'm confused. I'm just confused about the Democrat's faux moral posturing. It's not like I can look at their proposed policies or bring up quotes or anything...

That's the key word, there.
In my opinion they propose too many things to keep track of.
Let's make sure we're using the same set of facts about what they've actually implemented, and then we might be able to have a productive conversation about what some of them are proposing.

That is very much false (not surprising coming from you).  They are streaming in, given money and moved to the interior of the country first by bus, then by plane.

No, [BLEEP]. Why don't you just consider WHY they want illegals in from Central America, but not from Cuba. It's not rocket science. You don't even need to use wikipedia to figure that one out. You just need to stop ignoring the obvious.

I'm picking up what you're throwing down, but recent arrivals from Cuba are not reliable Republicans, not like their ancestors were. Similarly if you look at how Latinos near the border voted in 2020, turns out they're a lot more Republican than most people expected.

Cubans will never vote Democrat. They know the evils of socialism.
