Read the executive order for yourself.  It's only 4 pages long and double-spaced, so I think that even you are capable of reading it.

He also spoke about it in a recent press conference.

The order literally threatens to withhold funding from school districts that attempt to mandate masks take away parent's rights to make decisions for their children's health care.

He is not allowing the districts to have any say.

I fixed your statement for you.

His EO protects your right as a parent to muzzle your spawn and send them to school wearing a mask.  It also protects the right for parents to choose not to require their children to muzzle up.

But the fallacy is, as Americus already pointed out, is that this isn't really an individual choice thing.  The person making the choice doesn't get the benefit.  If everyone just looks put for their own health without care for others, no one would wear masks.

Our bodies weren't designed to wear a mask for hours on end. It is not healthy. Common sense tells you that. Can you imagine the bacteria stuck in a cloth mask after wearing it just a couple of hours? If your kid is going to wear a mask make sure it's an actual filtration mask that is meant to be worn for periods of time.

Also, your kid wearing a mask only protects other kids if your kid has the virus.

Yes, and I can smell them.  This is why we wash our masks just like any other clothing.
In any case, those bacteria don't spread Covid.  But you know that.

I just said that.  Try to keep up.  And yes, I actually am that altruistic that I would do something only to benefit others.  I guess you're not?

So you're okay with giving your kid a bacterial infection?

If your kid has the virus or is sick at all I'd hope you're smart enough to keep him/her home from school.

And don't get [BLEEP] with me. Being smug and condescending isn't as cool as you think it is.

I did not say that. At all. Deciding to wear a mask or not is an individual choice. Period. The outcome of that choice lies with the individuals. Whether or not it affects them or others is a whole different conversation.

There is no guarantee a cloth mask will prevent anything. There is no guarantee social distancing will prevent anything. There are no guarantees vaccines will prevent anything. All of these measures have failed with regard to the Delta variant as evident by the surge in new cases. All of these measures being forced onto us are not failsafe.

If your mask won't stop the virus, how will another person's mask stop it? It won't do anything to the virus, it may stop some water vapor. It doesn't mean that the water vapor will magically get stopped, not splash, break up, etc and release smaller particles with the virus or just release the virus and stop the water. You aren't breathing in water vapor through your mask unless you are sucking air out of random stranger's mouths when you go places.

How are you getting infected with a mask on if your own mask is supposed to filter everything coming out your mouth? The circular logic doesn't work out.
A mask won't filter out everything, but if you are carrying the virus it will drastically reduce the chances of you transmitting the virus simply because the mask will stop the saliva particles from spreading in the air.

Hydrogen sulfide molecules are much smaller than a virus. And the mucous particles that virii tend to piggyback on are much bigger than the virus..  Think about it for a minute.  Look it up on Wikipedia if you need to. But I didn't have to.

Again as usual you are wrong.  It IS an individual choice as well as the choice of parents.  The point is that we as FREE individuals are responsible for ourselves.  If I choose not to wear a mask that is my choice.  I am responsible for ME.  I am not responsible for others and it is not the government's business to mandate what I do for my own health and well being including what I choose to wear or not wear.  The same goes for parents of minor children.

You, as well as democrats like you just don't seem to get that when government is allowed to tell you what to wear or what to do you are no longer free.  What's next?  Having to wear a patch on your clothing to identify whether or not your vaccinated?  Having to "show you papers"?  That happened in the past...

Democrats like you always say that those on the political right like me are "Nazis", but just exactly which side is acting like Nazis?

I am not saying to wear a mask or not wear a mask.  I am saying that it's up to the individual to decide what they want to do, just like our good Governor Ron DeSantis is saying.

It's called personal responsibility.  Of course you wouldn't know anything about that.

Masks are worn for the protection of others, not yourself. But of course, you couldn't give a [BLEEP] about anyone other than yourself. Much more comfortable to hide behind the spectre of personal responsibility than to do anything that could benefit anyone else.

The protection of "others" is not my responsibility.  If the "others" are so concerned then they should stay in their homes with their masks on.  We don't live in a communist/socialist country (for now).  We live in a free country (for now) that allows personal choice.

If the Jaguars "mandate" masks and/or vaccine proof in order to attend a game, then I guess I won't be attending any games.

Then go add another 4 or 5 masks to your face and I'm sure you're all about the anal swabbing as well..

And [BLEEP] you for trying to shame people into wearing them.

Back to your hole, Hobbit.
