Looks like the fractured ankle was worse then initially thought. Hopefully in this years draft we can find Lawrence a Jamar Chase type of receiver. DJ is ok but not a #1.
Yeah I got the notification.. I think Jones Jr has been and will fill in nicely. Him and TLaw are already developing a rapport that's pretty fun to watch.
Dang. Bad news for us but really bad for him. On a contract year. Whereever he signs next year hopefully he an get a prove it deal and play well earning himself a bigger pay day.

He is a good #2 but far from the elite #1's. If he and his agent are realistic, it would be good to see him back on a decent contract. If he is looking for a big contract by over valuing his play then let him walk.
I would bet he's played his last snap as a Jag.
Good luck in the future.
He would be smart to sign a 1 year prove it deal with the Jaguars. It will be the only chance he has to get paid like a #1 if he is successful. He is a #2 permanently if he decides to go to any contender.
Sorry for Chark. But he truly is not a bonafide #1 WR IMO. As far as us getting one in the draft next year, There does not seem to be one of Chase' caliber at this point. Jones indeed is our WR#1 but a pleasant surprise has been Agnew. Back to Chark, his career path seems to be matching another WR we had. Allen Robinson. I think we have seen the last of Chark in a Jags uniform. Ah well, we get to start looking ahead to next year's draft already. At least we don't have to worry about QB, other than his health of course.
That sucks.
He could definitely be helping us if healthy.
What has surprised me is how WELL Jamal Agnew has turned into a receiver. Past 2 weeks he's had 11 receptions and 119 yards.
Just goes to show how good Trevor has been considering he doesn't have a long threat.
Why the [BLEEP] are the Jags so jinxed. Every freaking WR from LSU is a superstar except for the one we get.
In today’s NFL a WR whose best season was 1008 yards, that’s just not gonna cut it as a WR1. We haven’t had a true go to WR since Arob. In this years draft I’m hoping we go after one.

DJ who? Agnew is going to be our new Cheetah.

He definitely has to sign a 1 year deal but I'm not sure the Jags would be the best choice. He needs playing time to get back to #1 money and I don't see him getting that here next season. He was already not working well with Lawrence and looked like timing was always off. Jones was always the 1st choice.
I really hope he comes back, but I agree. Do not count on him to he the #1. I would still like to see chark and Lawrence next season after lawrence has had a season of experience. That connection could be deadly next season

This reminds me of your Hargreaves > Ramsey takes
Chark is better than any period Hurns by a long shot. The speed comparison isn't even a comparison.
Hurrns double move was sick but he wasn't as good as Chark.

Hargreaves was a bust in the NFL, he was a better corner in college than Ramsey but I never said he was better in the NFL,. Ramsey was a better safety in college than he was a corner. Chark is better by a long shot? Lol. I'm talking about who was the better player not who has the better 40 time. Give me prime Hurns any day. Hurns knew how to get open and had a knack for the end zone. There is a reason he was voted top 100 by the players before the injury. He would of made multiple Pro bowls had he stayed healthy
Chark has a ton of potential but hasn't yet realized much of it. Maybe he never will, there are tons of guys with potential who never get a chance to fully develop it (injuries, circumstances, whatever). I wouldn't give up on him yet but he's going to have a challenge overcoming this setback.
