I'm assuming it was a tongue in cheek remark, and it's not loosely based on Buck Rodgers.
I usually DVR what I watch aside from some live sports, so I don't usually catch entire commercials.

I don't know about Buck Rodgers, but the premise of the show seems to be them chasing someone back through time that wants to destroy the country by changing historical events.
Remember this coming Monday night, season premier, Penny and Leonard are getting married and Sheldon is going to announce something at the wedding ceremony.
For Cinemax subscribers, I enjoyed the premier episode of
Quarry. It has promise, if no other reason than Damon Herriman (Justified's Dewey Crowe).

Well, I'm old enough to have seen the original movie that it's based on, lol. Let's just say that I suspect it is to westerns what Game of Thrones might be to Renaissance faires.
So far I like Designated Survivor though seeing an almost neutered version of a Kiefer Sutherland character was really weird. I look forward to what happens next.
Oh, and Longmire is back on Netflix and Luke Cage is coming out 30 September. My husband is chomping at the bit for TWD.

I liked designated survivor too. Milk toast keifer was definitely something different, but it was a nice change for him.
West World next weekend on HBO. Not sure if it will be an on going series but with Anthony Hopkins and Ed Harris appearing in the first season it's definetly caught my eye. Other than that new show. I have the Walking Dead in October and Vikings in November to look forward to. And then in the beginning of next year it'll be the final season of Black Sails kicking off which is also a solid show. Then I have to wait forever for Game of Thrones to come back.

Did anyone watch Quantico last season? I've been watching it on Netflix and it's so over the top preposterous I can hardly stand it. But I have two episodes left of S1 so I have to finish it. The only reason I haven't stopped watching is because I want to know who did it.
