Whatever...you got the point.
I won't be watching ANY television for at least five days due to some typical Comcast crap. I decide to give them a try after six years with DirecTV and nothing has changed. They just arbitrarily changed my install date from yesterday to next Monday.

Sorry, wrong thread. But had to vent a little. My head is about to explode from dealing with 'customer service' for the last 45 minutes. Customer service...yeah right.
I switched to Comcast after 11 years with Dish...I love it.

I'm right there with ya. Satellite sux.
Yeah, I love the sports app thing that let's you see all the games that are being played and what time/channel.

I like it cause my picture doesn't go out when someone passes butt gas
That's true too.

I'm liking Designated Survivor, though I still think 24 is better. That being said, 2 episodes into 24 I can't say I was hooked yet either.
So, I saw some commercials for "The Good Place". It looked like it could be funny. But it's kinda stupid. But I watched this week's episode and they referenced Jacksonville 4 times, one guy had a teal jersey on with black sleeves with a 5 on it. Later, they actually said "Bortles". I thought it was kinda cool.

Quote:Me too! I'm interested because it looks syfy-y. I just hope it's not too western-y

I've watched both episodes in the last two days. I'm hooked. Although I could do without the stereotypical Mr. Sizemore, this one seems like a great series.
I am enjoying Luke Cage on Netflix. I'm not a comic buff so I knew nothing of Daredevil until the movie came out years ago and didn't know about Jessica Jones or Luke Cage until I watched Jessica Jones.

I loved (Netflix) Daredevil, Jessica grew on me and Luke Cage is very interesting. I don't know jack about the character of Luke Cage from the comics but Mike Colter is knocking it out of the park as far as I'm concerned. And he's easy on the eyes which always helps.

I haven't seen all of the Netflix original shows but what I have seen they really seem to take care in how they cast actors for the characters. I haven't been disappointed yet.
MacGyver sucked.

Timeless is pretty good though.

I was somewhat in the same boat on the knowledge of these Hero's but damn they have grown on me. Daredevil season 2 could be my favorite TV series of all time with DD, Punished, and Kingpin all going at it.

Yeah, saw that too.

Loved it. It's quirky.

Looks pretty good.  I wouldn't say I'm hooked but there's definitely some potential there.  They've taken the basic premise of the movie, reoriented it to give the viewer the perspective of both the humans and the hosts and sprinkled in a light dose of "The Dark Tower" with the man in black seeking "a deeper layer to the game".  Smile

I caught that in the Episode synopsis. I'm not sure how deep they're going to go with this, but remember that Abrams was the first guy that King approached to make the Dark Tower movie ensemble. Could Abrams be flexing his muscles and/or ego here a bit?

Maybe I jumped the gun on this one but it kind of scratches that itch of the "western sci-fi" crossover I've been waiting for for so long.

Just testing....  I just passed butt gas.  Is your TV still working?
