At this point, I'm beginning to look at the Gus years as "the good old days." At least we saw some signs of progress from some players and not just complete regression from everyone--save for Campbell and Taven, apparently.

I will give props to Campbell who got an interception on the very first time he actually keyed in on the football rather than the receiver.

Completely agree. Good to see someone attack the ball in the air rather than just try and make the tackle after its been completed.

Maybe I was naive but I really thought Lawrence would have a bigger impact on our offense at this point in the season.

Yeah, that was a well placed ball to Jones, but the db was right there with him. The team's biggest problem right now is a lack of talent, but they reinforced it with a lack of discipline.

Logan Cooke should be placed into the Pride of the Jaguars at the end of the season. This man has, essentially, single-handedly carried this franchise since the day he was drafted.

I think we should try more bubble screens to Shenault. This will help the field position when we have to punt the ball.

What else can TL do, he has no wide receivers who he can depend on. If they get open, which is very rare, will they catch it? Will his line block well enough that he has time to find someone who may be open? Other QBs have time back there to see the field and throw to the best option. Many times TL is just trying not to get killed. When he does find someone who may be open, he can't be sure they'll catch it. There was a one-handed catch in one play and a drop on another. How many drops have there been in this game?

Maybe if Chark were still playing. A QB can only do his part. He can't run the routes and catch the passes, too.

Yeah, I'm sure he'll have more than one team to choose between.

We should spend 2 day 2 picks at reciever in addition to targeting one of the top guys in FA like Godwin or Adam's. Hopefully that along with a new coordinator can make a dramatic differnwce next year.

Just pass every down now and practice passing offense

Rookie QBs always struggle, even with more talent that we have. But the fact of the matter is, TL can't make WRs get separation or cure their stone hands. Our lack of talent is profound.

We may lead the league in punts and putting yards. Good at something. We did draft a punter in the 3rd round as well

Ben Bartch is really struggling with Grady Jackson.
