No, it was a legit shot at overtime. Unfortunately the offense can't execute these kinds of drives.
Still waiting for a game where Lawrence will just “take over” and we actually win. Bound to happen right?
Maybe the last game, when we play a team that already clinched a playoff spot and is resting all their starters

Thats a big no way. Comparing him to Andrew Luck now is laughable. You put Andrew Luck on this same team and we win atleast 6 games to this point. Lawerence is over rated. He could improve his game because he has the tools but time will tell if he will.

dude he got drafted to literally the worst team in the league.... he has no wide receivers.... and consistently playing from behind.... Trevor will be fine...
You mean just like Joe Burrow or Justin Herbert?
Lawrence made some horrible throws that last drive

Blind much? Throwing balls 5 feet behind receivers or over their head is not good passes.

Then you have something in common with the offense and Trevor.
So does your mom

1. Penalties are killing us. Literally gifted the falcons at least 4.
2. Trevor Lawrence is not as pro ready as we thought. He has all the tools, but this is going to take some patience.
3. Don’t look now, but Campbell played his best game of the year. He is starting to look the part of being a major piece of this defense going forward.
4. The offensive line is killing drives. I don’t think there is a single player on the unit that is a must keep for next year to me.
5. Offense needs speed. We have talked about it all year, but we need someone to stretch the field and keep the defenses more honest. No one strikes fear as a home run hitter.
How many rookie QBs are "pro ready"? Nearly all look atrocious in their first year.
Agreed. I’m not worried, because I feel confident we can build around him for the next decade. I think a lot of us had elevated, perhaps unrealistic, expectations due to the media hype. I’m still very glad Trevor is our QB and I think we can build from this foundation into a playoff contender relatively soon.

Both had losing records with their respective rosters their first year. Wanna try again?

Btw, the offense started to move the sticks once Lawrence started to use his legs.

Really? A “your mom” joke?
And we have in your oh so genius thread. The team has the worst WR corp in the league, one of the worst O-Line’s, constantly commit awful drive breaking penalties, has a coach who has shown deficiency in even basic Nfl coaching principles numerous times, and so on. This is the worst possible situation any rookie could go in, yet you insist on making a declaration of “bust” despite all the evidence staring you in the face

Both had flashes of greatness and both had boneheaded plays last year. Despite this they were thrown into bad rosters and no matter how “good” they were couldn’t will their team to winning records.
No need to fight amongst ourselves. We are all disappointed in the way the year has gone. We
Fournette is tearing it up with TB. 4 td’s today. Ramsey playing at all-pro level for L.A. I could go on and on with former Jags who have gone on to stardom elsewhere. Why is that?
Fournette killing it for the Bucs. Another player who left here to shine.

We’re the most dysfunctional franchise in the NFL

Some of his completions were bad too. Recievers having to reach back against their bodies or reach really high because the ball sails on him. Lawrence is not throwing the football well overall. He shouldn't be missing checkdowns as often as he has as well.
just disband the jags, let's get an NBA team or something
Not many QBs would do much better with this putrid team. WRs cant catch or create separation. (Most of lawrence's passes aren't off-target, he is trying to throw the wr open, but again, they cant create separation and are blanketed 95% of the time.
Lawrence would have any current .500 team competing for the playoffs.
The team and coaching around him flat out suck. Period.
I honestly have no hope for this team to be successful in Jacksonville ever again. The NFL's blatant agenda against Jaguars is becoming more obvious each passing year.
Look at burrow with chase and tua with waddle today. Enough said.
