Khan is a capitalist, a banner or change.org petition won't mean crap to him.
I know for a fact that this will not work. Before the lame duck season, Khan was informed many times that the Business side of the team could not sell anything because of the performance of the team and the fans wanted all the coaches and GM gone. They were very desperate and I randomly meet the leader of the business side, so had his contact info. Opinions were made known about our tickets and they even offered to give a bunch of Jag stuff to try and keep us (original season ticket owners but not a ton of money to the Jags bottom line). Told them the offers were great but didn't need the additional access, I needed the team and ownership to put in the effort to be good.
We still got the lame duck year because he didn't care enough to fire and pay the coaches and GM.
Khan just don't want to be someone like Jerry Jones. He wants to let the football people run the team and he can work on the business side to increase his profits. While he wants to win, profits will make the winning not matter. As long as he isn't losing money, it isn't that big of a deal on the performance of the team.
ok, start an online petition, see if that works instead.
Of the two, which do you think would be more effective? I mean, this is all dream world junk anyhow. We're stuck with the miserable hire for at least another season, even if every last STH cancels, every sponsor pulls their ads, or any other punishment you could envision.

A billboard? Hashtag? This is a serious question. Not that it would actually work but who knows, if you get thousands of fans to do a poll or petition and get it to the media...maybe that sends the message? I don't know, just tired of this. I have been here since I was a young boy and I don't think I've ever felt this done with a coach...and we've had some bad ones. Hell even Gus could make me feel like things COULD happen. I don't believe a damn thing Meyer says...

If there's a significant drop in ticket sales, you are giving him every reason to move the team. Don't do that.
The only way maybe is to apply media pressure
If a sack meyer article or something along the lines starts to gain traction..as well as fans constantly voicing our opinion on how we want urban gone..
Idk

Yea that was my thought as well. Maybe like start a change.org and then get that some sigs to the media?
I cant remember if you all were crying so much to get marrone or gus fired. Act like you have no control over things you cant control and relax

with that mindset, why bother watching games in the first place?
I can't imagine anyone considers what we do on Sundays enjoyable, and yes, we were just as vocal about past coaches, have you forgotten Todd Wash already? Caldwell? Gene Smith?
The difference is several of those were given a longer leash because they at least appeared competent if only for a brief moment.
Can you honestly say in any of the on-field product or off-field interactions that Urban resembles a person who is qualified, prepared, and worthy of the positions he holds?

I am definitely more vocal this time. At least in the past we seemed somewhat competent at first with the line your helmets straight Mularkey, or the endlessly energetic and positive Gus, the shoot it straight Marrone, and of course the 'even if he's released' Caldwell. They also delivered some instant excitement signing top shelf names in FA like Poz, Julius Thomas, Bouye, Campbell, Malik...even if they all didn't work out obviously.
Urban's lifeless, incomprehensible malaise is a totally different animal.
I would consider Khan now informed because the Robinson debacle is all that’s been playing on local radio, and some national, for the last two days.
so you asked, and unlike our jags wolfie deliverlied. this email was sent to khan.
all of us jags fans know the truth. the nfl is paying you alll off front office, coaches, players to keep loseing so you can move jags to london.
its been the plan the whole time since khan bought the jaguars. its a conspricy.
Meyer: "Why am I being fired?"
Khan: "I know I just hired you, and you've only had one season, but there are a few people on a message board who say they represent "the fans" who want you fired, so I guess I have to do it. They sent me an email."

Khan: well, it started with your complete and utter failure to evaluate the roster that you inherited properly.
Then, granted a partnership with Trent Baalke to control personnel decisions of the team, you failed to upgrade any position on the roster except kick returner and rotational DT. Other position groups regressed. Things really starting to get shaky when you didn’t understand that a rookie quarterback would benefit greatly from a run game - you know - with that 1000 yard rusher you had lingering on the bench for the first two weeks of the season. But instead, you asked a rookie quarterback to fling the ball all over the field with a wide array of low completion percentage passes and we’ve watched the kid struggle week after week while you have no answer to help him. You were given a very rare opportunity to Utilize an abundance of cap Space and a wealth of capital. In the modern era of NFL football, we have seen general managers & head coaches in similar situations reverse the course of a struggling franchise in a short period of time. Not only were you unable to do this, you seem to have made this roster less competitive while implementing offensive game plans week after week that have analysts all over the country shaking their heads in dismay. I’ve searched for a glimmer of hope in your body of work thus far that would make me consider retaining you and allowing you an opportunity to redeem yourself. I have found no such glimmer. You have until the end of the week to clear out your things. Please leave your entry credentials with the security desk on your way out. Good luck.
FTFY

"deliver lied" is such a perfect typo for the rest of this post. a chef's kiss to you, wolfie.

This is a legit question. You REALLY feel its "a few people on a message board"? Do you honestly believe there are more people who want Meyer to stay than to leave?

Since all we do is talk to each other, and maybe a few friends outside this message board, we don't know the answer to that question.
Regardless, when has Khan ever made a decision about this team by consulting public opinion? It's his team, and if the fans don't want to support it, he'll move it.

Buddy. That's all YOU do. Check out Jags local media, twitter, national media and just about any other outlet of your choosing and you'll see that no one is behind Urban.
Even John Oesher who almost never says anything bad about the team or coaching... Even he is having doubts and appears to be questioning things.

A slightly bigger non-scientific sample is still a non-scientific sample.
Secondly, when has Khan ever made a decision by consulting public opinion? He doesn't need to do that. He owns the team and he has numerous current opportunities to move to another city and make much more money if the fans don't support the team here. So he doesn't need to consult Jaguar fans in order to make decisions. That's why it's absurd to think that your opinion matters when it comes to him making any decision.

That's surprising. He's been vocal lately about how it's asinine to criticize coaching.
