In the fourth quarter it looked to me like Trevor was rushed and desperate and just tried to make things happen that he's not ready to make happen, yet, and with a team around him that can't allow him to make things happen. With a league average amount of talent and coaching around him I think he'd have won today.

Khan needs to clean house, I don't care if it's to put Tony in charge of personnel, or what, but change has to happen. You can't have a guy like Urban in charge, or Trevor will become some team's Brees in five years.

Dude you have to be Helen Keller because we did not see the same game.  Lawrence was horrible all game long

Norwell got eaten alive by Simmons today.  3 holds and they still did nothing to neutralize him.  We had 7 yds rushing.  TN DL destroyed the Ol.

I recall at some point in the third quarter Trevor was something like 15-20 for 100-something yards and an interception, and his incompletes and interception were all throws either dropped or thrown away to avoid a sack. The team seemed to commit a penalty every time Trevor made a play. He had made multiple first downs on long third or fourth down throws.

The team is awful right now, the coaching is terrible. Trevor hasn't been Tom brady, but you seem to be a troll more than a fan of the team.

I've been as critical of Lawrence as anyone but yesterday he was getting zero help. No run support, under a constant rush and his receivers looked like rejects from the Arena League. I agree this wasn't all on Trevor. They've got to give home some help.

Lawrence got no support from anyone (players or coaches), but he also made plenty of his own mistakes.  You don't throw the ball away by just lofting it up in the air in the field of play.  That's the part of his performance I find most concerning.  His judgement appears to be regressing and he looked about as poised as Blaine Gabbert out there yesterday.

Maybe he was just trying too hard in an impossible situation, but that's when coaching needs to step in to settle him down.
No one is stepping in to calm anyone down. The offensive coaches are watching their futures melt away and their reputations be destroyed by a megalomaniac. It has permeated the team.

Normally you will see people fight hard because they need to get good plays on tape for their next stop.

Lawrence is one piece of the answer.

Meyer was quoted as saying he believes in his heart he can turn things around.   Well I believe Pamela Anderson* is secretly pining to get back together with me.  Shear make believe.  That is all Meyer has brought to this franchise.  Candies and nuts.
When I saw that handshake video on Dilla's twitter I was hoping UM was walking away from the HC job in his mind....the look on his face really looked like he decided
to turn it in.
Today maybe?
Hoping if he is resigning it happens this week. I wanna see what this team can do against the Texans with the monkey off their back
Urban has checked out. For the first time in his career, he’s not wanted and not accepted by his peers. He’s a million miles from Jacksonville.

Nobody is stepping in to kick any butts either.  The personal foul on Wingard was ridiculous and Urban stood there like a zombie.  Can you imagine the reaction of Bill Cowher or Mike Ditka when that player got to the sidelines?

He's thinking about vacationing in Nebraska.

I have been critical of Lawrence but I think his first half was good enough. If it looked like that I would be fully onboard with those that say that it's coaching or receivers. I mean, the offense was stalling but what could he do?

First shutout for us since 09.

I don't know if this is the OC giving up, passive-aggressively thumbing his nose at Urbz's "I'm a winner" alleged confrontation or what, but they didn't seem to even try the run game. TLaw is not capable of carrying the entire team at this point in his career, especially considering the line and receivers he's working with.

I still don't understand why we revamped the RB room and then completely abandon the run game every Sunday.

I know we are terrible up front and we didn't even try running, but we should also acknowledge that the tacks are stout up front. They were whooping our guys all day. Didn't help that they could pin their ears back and rush the passer every single down, but I doubt that adjusting our game plan would have had any more success against their front line. However, by abandoning the run, it allowed the back of the D to focus solely on pass D, which further complicated TLaw's chance at accomplishing anything.

I just pray that the revolution comes, and Shad has no choice but to move on from this past year's hires. They are a recipe for disaster.

Again, you’re a member of “root for the Trevor to fail” troll squad. Your bad opinion is bad.

I'm not rooting for him to fail. I want him to plsy to his draft status. The facts are is he is playing like a bum and reeks of bust.

Fields and Jones. They look much better than Lawrence and its not even close.

Fields and Jones went to teams that went 7-9 and 8-8 last year.  Lawrence and Wilson went to teams with records of 1-15 and 2-14.  Do you really think it is coincidence that the quarterbacks who went to better teams with better supporting casts are having better initial results?

No, he doesn't. That's why you shouldn't bother with his laughably bad takes, he's just trolling.

And fields looks better? His stat line isn’t better then Trevor’s at all, and he also has won only two starts. Lol.
