That was evident many weeks ago with the HORRIBLE playcalling and decision-making on offense. 3rd and 2? Call a play to chuck the ball 47 yards to a smothered receiver.
That entire coaching staff INCLUDING Meyer is a major problem.

Throw was a little far in front, but the DB also pulled Jones’ right arm back making it impossible to make the catch without a one handed grab even if it was closer
This is ultimately good for draft position.

Lofton specifically addressed it. He was backside and the safety was over the top, "You can't make that throw."

At least we expedited us watching our offense rather than them dink and dunk with some stupid game-extending penalties on defense.
