Lets say your doctor was in the same situation.

You have a serious condiiton,   He keeps operating on you but every time you come out with more injuries and worse for it. He wants the best for you and hope you get well.   Year after year you either not get better or get worse.

Does that make him a good doctor?

That's a crappy example, because my doctor has never had the threat of relocating their practice to another city if I stop going to my appointments or pay for his office. I also never hired Khan.

Shad is the landlord that is trying to do all the home maintenance himself, but has no idea how plumbing and electrical work. When he does outsource, he ends up hiring guys who have no idea how to fix the problem or are working way above their paygrade and the results fail to show or are short-lived. Might be a great guy, and always willing to pay up when the problems arise, but after a while of the toilets backing up, you're not going to want to keep paying your rent to them.

That set them back so far there has been a reluctance to do it again even when called for.
I could see that. But the semi cleaning house [BLEEP] they pulled from 2018-19 was more damaging than the initial. They sold off most of the talent from a roster that was a few plays away from a sb and did nothing with any of the capital.

I could see why he may be reluctant but doing a half [BLEEP] clean out by dumping vets for day 2 picks and not paying guys coming off rookie deals( except bortles which was flat ridiculous)has done nothing for us. He’s been in rebuild mode every year but maybe 2ish since he bought the team.

It getting to a point where he has to realize that whatever move comes instinctually to him is probably wrong and he should just do the opposite.

"scared" would have been the term I'd use. Rats were jumping ship in record numbers. OUtside of Calais, I don't know that any other deal wasn't a requested departure.

You give him advice but he never listens or learns. It's frustrating.

With the exception of this year, we have had the lowest paid coaches and GMs in the NFL under Shad Khan.

We are also $28 million UNDER the cap.  The next lowest team is $21 million.

He's been the lowest spending owner over the past 10 years.  The fact that we got some high priced free agents is because we aren't paying a QB $35 million so it looks like he's spending but he's actually spending less since we don't have or retain players like Jalen Ramsey and Allen Robinson.
