Senior Bowl practice begins tomorrow and several potential stars will be participating. While our likely first round pick will not be attending, the same cannot be said about players the team will consider beginning in round 2. Admittedly, it's difficult to get excited about the draft when our incompetent owner is making a fool of himself and our franchise. That being said, these are the players I'm anxious to see this week:

1. Cameron Thomas: If Thibodeaux and Hutchinson are not selected with the first pick, Thomas could be a great consolation prize in round 2. My hope is for a trade back in round 1 and getting
Thomas with an extra second rounder they get in the trade. This week will be big for him due to the level of competition he will face.

2. Jahan Dotson/Jalen Tolbert: Their performance this week and in the combine will determine whether they can go as high as rounds 1 and 3 respectively. Would love to get Dotson in round 2, but if he shines too much this week he'll likely go at the end of round 1. Tolbert would be a great 3rd round pick if he performs as expected this week.

3. Trevor Penning/Darrian Kinnard: Both can be first rounders if they excel this week and in the combine. If Penning dominates against his competition this week, he could be a top 15-20 pick and possibly someone the Jaguars could trade back into the first round for. Kinnard's versatility and toughness would make him a great 2nd round pick.

4. Trey McBride/Jeremy Ruckert/Jake Ferguson: Would love the Jaguars to draft any of these tight ends. If McBride has a great week, he may rise to a late first rounder and would not be a reasonable pick for the Jaguars. Ruckert and Ferguson, however, are both underrated and could project as 3rd round picks by draft-time. Both are also good blockers and could could be used along with Arnold- especially in 2 tight end sets.

There are several other players of interest, however these are the one's I'll be watching the most.
Kenny Pickett- need a QB to start upping their stock for any chance of a suitor in a trade for the top pick.

I'm rooting like hell for Pickett or Howell to shine this week.
Add Christian Watson to the list

Chad Muma - LB
Zion Johnson - G
Bernhard Raimainn - OT
Abraham Lucas - OT
Luke Goedeke - OT
Charlie Kolar - TE
Trey McBride - TE
Tyler Badie - RB
Hasaan Haskins - RB
Khalil Shakir - WR
Jahan Dotson - WR

American Team:
John Ridgeway - DT
Devonte Wyatt - DT
Jamaree Sayler - OT
Brian Robinson Jr. - RB
Isaiah Likely - TE
Grant Calcaterra - TE
Jalen Tolbert - WR
Darian Kinnard - OT

A lot of great talent on display in this one. A lot of these guys will be there in RD3 - RD5.

Could make the argument that a dominate performance from some of these guys will push them up into late RD1 discussion or late RD2 discussion.

Dotson, Wyatt, McBride and Muma are guys to watch closely in particular. Either one of those four could take over a drive or two.

Dotson is already in the late RD1 discussion. Wyatt is a very good interior defensive lineman coming off a great Bulldogs defense. McBride is a force to be reckoned with at tight end. He's had the most receiving production in the country out of the traditional stance. Muma is also a well rounded linebacker that flashes great instincts.

Any one of those guys is an instant starter on this football team. Landing a combination of this group would be ideal in April.

Agreed, those all seem like reasonable targets for the Jaguars based on positional need.

However, until we know who the coach is and what his scheme requirements will be, what sort of real evaluations can we make?

This is the frustrating thing about not having the head coach and GM positions solidified yet.

It potentially puts us behind in scouting.

Going to hope there's a film rat or two in the building. I honestly feel this is the only reason Baalke has not been fired. They're keeping him intact for the details regarding the roster.

I think he'll be ultimately demoted in 2022 after they officially announce the next hires but they won't fire him until after this year is over with. Unless he's completely cool with everything or walks on his own.

How awesome is it that the Jags are going to be unrepresented because our HC search has been just that disastrous?
Smh. Sucks

This is an embarrassment. Khan should be humiliated, but his ego won't let him.
I'm excited to watch Jason Dotson. I think hes going to light it up this week and show how great he is but that it will actually hurt us because it will cement him as a first rounder.
Many analysts have touted the edge depth in this draft. If the Jags don't take Hutchinson or Thibodeaux with the first pick, an edge guy in the 2nd or 3rd is likely in my mind. Josh Allen needs a rush mate on the other side, and it does not appear to be Chaisson or last draft's Smith. I am going to watch the next level of these guys closely, such as Jermaine Johnson, Kingsley Enagbare, Myjai Sanders, and others in this Senior Bowl week (and game).
Sad to see so many people confirming they think all of Dotson, Raimann, and Penning are going to be in the first round. They would have been some of the very top options at 32.

Raimann would have been ideal in RD3. I really hope Goedeke can show some more technique this week against good competition. I really like him at RT. He's a former TE. He can get out and move in the running game. I think he would push Taylor for his job on day one in the event they move on from Cam Robinson and decide to roll with Walker Little at LT or even decide Evan Neal is the guy at LT in April.
I’m really interested to see Isaiah Likely in some one on one drills. Everything on his tape he is running wide open, he looks like a poor mans version of Kyle Pitts.

On the fence about him. Reminds me of Josh Oliver a little bit. Josh's problem with being here was staying healthy though. I do like the fact that Likely has shown a few good years in a row with consistency.

I still think McBride is the best one of this class. Kolar would be my 2nd best option from this class. Followed by Jake Ferguson in the 3rd spot and Jaylen Wydermyer in the 4th spot. I would say Likely and Calcaterra are 5A and 5B for me though.

McBride and Likely are my top 2 TE's. I also really like Derrick Deese, Charlie Kolar, Cole Turner, Jelani Woods and Greg Dulcich.

It seems most of the QBs (all but Pickett) measured shorter than expected.  All except Pickett were right around 6'.

Supposedly Willis had a good day, while Ridder did not.

Penning got good reviews for today's practice.
