Commanders. Since the Jaguars are the Jags are the Commanders the Commies?

Stupid name. I'm just gonna keep calling them WFT.

Under the circumstance of the original nickname no longer being used by the Franchise, Washington Wild Hogs or Red Hogs would have been at or very near the top of best options. 

'The Hogs' Offensive Line was the most identifiable unit for the Franchise during the best period in their Franchise History.....in which they won 3 Super Bowls and made it to 4 Super Bowls in total.

They will always be the Redskins to me. You can't erase decades of history and memories with the change of a name. And now they need to change the team colors because what they have going on does not scream "Commanders."

Washington Woodchucks would have been better. Or, the Washington Whistle Pigs.

Oh all the names they could have picked they found one as lame as football team. Commanders? Hmm... whatever. In 20 years time it'll be fine for the woke generation I suppose.

Think they should have stayed the redskins and changed their logo to a potato. Win win for all

If they HAD to change the name, Red Hogs would have been best. It ties into part of the team's existing tradition and identity.

Commanders is completely lame, and it is an open invitation for the team to be called the Commies. They made it too easy for that one.

Warriors would have been my pick but I guess they'd have had to deal with potential copyright issues with the NBA team of that name.
