I'd rather have Urbz back at HC than to have Hill on our roster.
So you want a toxic coach who can't win.

between the accusations of breaking his kid's arm and verbally threatening/intimidating his g/f, yeah, I want no part of that waste of carbon. there's a pattern too coincidental to deny, regardless of whether charges were filed or not.

from his own darn wiki...
Quote:In the recording that surfaced, Hill and his fiancée discuss their son's broken arm; she says that their son is scared of him, to which Hill responds, "You should be afraid of me too."
@That's exactly what someone who didn't beat his g/f or possibly cause his son to break his arm would say, yeah buddy.@

If you listened to that tape, his girlfriend basically tells him he broke the kid's arm when he "disciplined" him the wrong way and Hill does not deny it. He's pond scum!

It wasn't BS. Just because they let him get away with it, doesn't mean it wasn't true.

I don't care what they said. I heard the tape. That guy is psycho who preys on women and children.
(02-17-2022, 10:57 PM)ATLjag Wrote: [ -> ]It is a purely speculative KC fan pipedream piece in the link about a trade for Josh Allen. The trade he gave was hilarious. KC gets Josh Allen, Jag's 2nd round pick (2-1) and 3rd round pick (3-70)....Jags get KC's 1st round pick (1-30) and 3rd round pick (3-94). Even Baalke would not do that one.
This has to be up there in the stupidest trade proposals of all time. Another way of saying it is that the Jaguars would be giving up Josh Allen (a former pro-bowler under a rookie contract) to move up 3 spots in the draft from #33 overall to #30 overall. Oh, and we would also have to drop 30 spots in the third round. According to the "points chart", this is a bad deal for the Jaguars even if Josh Allen was excluded!!! Lol! We would be giving up draft capital to give them Josh Allen.
Only way I consider this trade with Kansas City is if I am getting the 30th overall pick plus Travis Kelce (Not out of the realm of possibility here as he's already 32 years old and will be 33 this year just a day before Lawrence turns 23). Not giving up any additional picks in this scenario though. It's a head scratcher to begin with.
However. Having picks 1, 30, 33, 65 & 70 + Travis Kelce in a system designed to highlight the TE position on offense seems more in this team's favor currently. We could draft Hutchinson or Thibodeaux. Add another receiver there like Burks or Dotson at 30 and still be in a position on the 2nd day to add another offensive lineman like Penning or Kinnard if needed or a strong defensive player like Nakobe Dean or Kingsley Enagbare.
It's an interesting idea. Also, consider this. When you start getting to the bottom of RD1 on opening night. There's a good chance a QB needy team that didn't want to move up into the top 10 - 20 this year to get their QB is a little bit more willing to fork over a current pick and future pick to get the guy they want. In that case, you could probably flip that 30th overall pick over to a team like Washington, Pittsburgh or Atlanta (assuming at some point they're looking for Ryan's successor) for probably 2nd and 3rd RD picks and future picks.
Kc would never get rid of mahomes 2 best weapons. That would be football malpractice. They are going to ride those two guys until the wheels fall off

You never know. A lot of finger pointing starts to happen when you went from King [BLEEP] to Dog [BLEEP] all within the matter of a few bad drives in the play offs. Kansas City could be looking to restart younger around Mahomes soon. Kelce is a $8.8M cap hit in 2022, he's close to 5% of the team's overall cap. They have a [BLEEP] ton of money also tied up between Jones and Clark on defense.
They have to start thinking about the team's overall make up and roster's age at some point. That defense was getting blown up against Buffalo and Cincinnati in the play off's. They could justify this trade by also looking at a relatively deep TE class in free agency next month. Trade Kelce, trade Jones and cut Clark and you're looking at about 35% of your cap space back in 2022 to start rebuilding.
Gain Josh Allen via trade by shipping Travis Kelce and the 30th overall pick over.
Sign a younger player at TE like Dalton Schultz, Mike Gesicki or Evan Engram.
Retool and rethink your offensive approach in 2022 and beyond while looking to address the other positions you need help at via free agency and the draft. It's been rumored that a rift happened last year already between Mahomes and Bieniemy and it's possible Mike Kafka is either going to take the OC position over outright or at least be more heavily involved anyway with Bieniemy being a free agent and not getting any looks around the NFL as a head football coach.
Perfect opportunity to start over and change the way you approach things as a team in general.

There's definitely a pattern from your posts worth banning especially remembering my days from the politics section imo
I don't think KC will be the dynasty they have been when the lose Kelce and Hill. It wouldn't shock me of the Chargers take over the division

Agreed. I think we started seeing some cracks in their armor last month. They were looking out of sync and out of sorts last year during the regular season at times as well. I think Hill will be around though but a talent like Kelce who is nearing 33 this year won't be around for much longer.
That's why I think they stand a good chance this off season to start the rebuilding process a little bit. They have too much cap currently tied up. Between Mahomes, Hill, Kelce, Jones and Clark they're really going to start having to make some moves to get some cap space back.
I am not sure Bieniemy is coming back as a free agent coaching wise. They might start shifting in a different direction with Kafka at the control center on offense potentially. The Chargers seem poised to take that next big step forward. Lombardi was only in his first year last season with Herbert. I think they'll have a better idea of what they want to do now collectively in 2022.
The Raiders are also interesting now with new personnel in the front office between Ziegler and McDaniels taking his second shot at being a head coach. Derek Carr is not a bad QB. They have some pieces there with Jacobs, Waller, Renfrow & Ngakoue on defense. That's another team, that, if they get a few things right in this draft they're probably right back in the play-off mix.
That's a pretty good division overall out there in the AFC West. Even Denver managed to sneak in seven wins.

I've always liked Carr, he the most underrated QB in the league imo. They need to get him some weapons at WR on the outside. If we don't get Adams I hope he goes to the Raiders to play with Carr

Is the super bowl winning Stafford still the most overrated or nah?
