He is setup to get a good contract next year and can probably claim low sack #s for 2 years in a row.
There hasn't been any noise about it, but many players do it especially on the 2nd FT.

It's pretty good cheddar. I'm pretty sure Bell was the only guy to ever just flat refuse to play on a 2nd tag in recent history?
Might still work out a deal post draft

I Concur BUT our RB core is an question mark to say the least. Robinson may not be 100% day one and Etiene hasn't played an regular season snap as of yet. Do we draft a RB early?

No need to draft early.
Draft late and/or sign multiple UDFA's and sign a mid-tier vet. Let the chips fall where they may in camp and wait on JR and ETN to get ready.
I'd have gone after McKissic in free agency if it were me, but that ship has sailed.

Use one of those four 6th round picks on one.

So we're expecting to find Terrell Davis and or another James Robinson of which isn't on this list? I'd draft an RB no later than round 4 to say the least. Both of our premiere RBs are coming off of Major injuries and May Not be ready (100%) day one. Not to mention that we need true depth at the position.

Baalke seems to like both Cam and Taylor at tackle. So again: Little is the backup until something else has been communicated by the team.

Baalke said today that who plays and where they play is up to the coaching staff.
So whether he thinks Little is a back up or not is irrelevant.

Baalke is an idiot! Thank God, he doesn't decide who starts and who is the backup. I hope Pederson doesn't buy into this B.S.

Who is the oline coach? What is his reputation? I DID hear about the glowing terms Baalke had for Cam so sounds like they want to get a contract. Also, seems Linder is in talks with them too. If they get a contract with Cam, I truly hope Little beats out Taylor at RT. If Linder stays that leaves one guard spot to fill.

Yes, this is true. My reasoning is that you'd have to go back that far (or further) of which an late round and or UDFA has made an true impact for a team. The odds aren't in a team's favor to which I'd rather draft legitimately at the position.

They just drafted a RB with the 25th overall pick. Is that not drafting legitimately at the position? He'll have had a full year to rehab and recover.
Also you'd be wrong about having to go back to 2014 or further. Phillip Lindsay went undrafted in 2018 and ran for over 1k yards in both of his first two seasons. Gus Edwards went undrafted in 2018 and has ran for over 700 yards in each of his 3 seasons (he tore his ACL this season).
Austin Ekeler went undrafted in 2017. Aaron Jones was a 6th round pick in 2017.
Those are just some guys off the top of my head. I'm sure I'm missing some from more recent drafts as well.

Basically every 49ers back that they didn't spend big money or a high draft pick on. Breida, Wilson Jr., Mostert and Mitchell have all been their best RB at some point in the past ~5 seasons. All of them were better than their other ventures like Coleman and McKinnon (both of which they spent good money on) or Sermon (3rd rnd) and Joe Williams (4th that they traded up for) that they drafted fairly high.
