That's classic bulletin board material. That gets posted up today everywhere. In the gym. In the lockeroom. In the bathroom. Everywhere.

He only said that because he's bitter they missed the playoffs. I don't think they had a caliber playoff team either way but it is what it is ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I think the lions were the worst team last season but technically, we had the worst record. I dont think the team gives up this game after a bad first quarter. Now, the seahawk game yes.

No disrespect to jim irsay, but he's the worst owner in the leauge i mean, if he sees a bottle of whiskey and some pain killers at noon, well hes prolly lookin to go to bed pretty soon after you know.

I forget what comedian had line that said, when someone opens with a line that says no disrespect to X, they follow it by disrespecting X.
Who the [BLEEP] cares what this clown says? Crying sour grapes after his team choked up on a playoff spot and was ill-prepared to play.

"no disrespect, but [proceeds to insult]" Good one.
And uh, did Dan Snyder, Jimmy Haslam, and Bobby Kraft all get abducted by aliens or something yesterday? Just like the playoffs, Irsay's on the outside looking in when it comes to worst owners.

FWIW - If you read the full transcript - Irsay was speaking specifically on the week 17 loss last year and in context it's not as bad of a slight.
However the "looking for the locker room" bit was a poor choice on his part and yes, he's a jerk and I'm thankful he doesn't own the Jaguars.

Just to offer a little balance, we want our sports personalities to be candid, because usually they just spout the same old inoffensive vanilla stuff all the time, but when they are candid, they get roasted.
Sure, we want to be respected, but what respect does he owe a 2-14 team?

Yeah these types of smack talk are what gives football some drama and makes it fun. Now let’s spank they again next time we play them!

I live in Maryland and the Jags play at FedEx Field this year. I can't even bribe my Commanders friends to go to the game because they don't want to give Snyder any of their money. Not to mention, he built FedEx field in one of the worst places because there is no public transit there. He's just the worst person.

I think you got it wrong. I can't put my finger on it though. It might be in considering Irsay a "sports personality", instead of just the rich guy who inherited daddy's team. Or maybe it's that you think we want candid, when really we want him to be three sheets to the wind whenever a microphone is within earshot. Maybe a little of both.

I dunno... I don't find what he did all that big of a deal. We were an awful team nobody had any business losing to. -shrug-

Shad Khan?

I actually agree with what he stated. We were the worst team in the league (coming off of a 43 point loss to the Pats) and probably would have quit if the Colts got off to a good start in that game. That said, the Jags played lights out so kudos to them rising to the occasion.

...just spent more money in free agency than any other owner.

When he gets arrested for taking too many pills and drinking and driving and putting people's actual lives at risk... I may agree.
Irsay is a garbage person that doesn't deserve money.

In the interest of fomenting rivalry and hate, I like the idea of owners getting in on smack talk.
That said, given the way we've pretty much made the Colts our annual homecoming opponent, he should be more polite.
