6-10 is a pretty wide spread. From cautiously optimistic to surprising. I voted for that though. I could see getting to 6 or 7 if things fall right. Either way, nearly any progress will be an improvement over the disaster of last season.

HoF game
Disnt they switch to 3 preseason games with the 17 game schedule? So with the HoF game I think he's right with 4 preseason games.

Seriously? We just had one of the worst 18 months of franchise life in NFL history. The idea that the new coach can suddenly fix the destruction of this roster and complete waste of our offseason capital from last year is ridiculous. Now this year all of the teams in the League are back on par with us and our only real advantage is the overall number one pick in a year where no college player is clearly the right pick. Even if Pederson and TLaw do absolutely everything right this team is still a year away.
18 MONTHS, try 10 years

---- 10 of our past 11 years have been horrendous. Removing 2017, our record since 2011 has been 38-123 a 23.6% win percentage or 3.8 wins per season.

Oh yeah, totally forgot they eliminated one preseason game.
"Ask after the draft." Funny stuff. If our rookie draft picks affect our W-L record significantly, then our team is still terrible. Go ahead and take the 1-5 wins option now.

Your point is well taken, but if two rookies end up starting and constitute an upgrade at their respective positions, it could conceivably be the difference between 5 wins and 6 wins, couldn't it?

Right. Also, people tend to forget our opponents have draft picks as well so they will likely improve to a certain extent as well.
If you look at the Vegas win total odds, they won't move as a result of the draft unless there is a blockbuster trade during the draft. All of this is already factored in to our projected win total.

I have yet seen a generation QB in a Jaguars uniform. Hype is just hype.

Fair enuff
The poll will be still open
Suggest you make a 6-8 option

I didn't go to MIT but I believe the 6-8 option falls within the 6-10 win parameter.

I literally see this same prediction on here every season.
This is a 4 win team until we can get a couple of players that can score touchdowns. Without a stud WR this is a 4 win team.

My options would have been:
Option A = 0-2 wins
Option B = 3-17 wins
Over the past 2 years, if you would have selected Option A, you win.
I'm seriously debating getting season tickets this year. Something tells me it's going to be a really fun season.
Apologies should if made poll more specific
First time doing a poll and wasnt sure how many options u were allowed, so i went with the safe option of 3
How ever i do agree with the general comments of 6-8 wins
Im leaning towards 8 wins tho

2021 season
Record: 3–14
So close. You'd only be right once in the last couple of years if you picked option B.
Though you'd still have a better winning record than the Jaguars have had since 2017.

I laughed when I read this. Maybe I'm delirious from lack of coffee yet. I think I think those ranges are too big.
A number 1 pick should certainly be a day-one starter. And I certainly hope our rookies make a big enough impact to get us an extra win or two and are starting because we hit a couple home runs rather than out of necessity because we suck everywhere else at their positions. Surely would be nice

That, and I also forgot the scrimmage. We should be able to get a win there too, but probably end up 1-1 after that game.

The darft may be the difference between 5 and 7 wins.
Or, if we take another RB in the first, it could be the difference between 7 and 3 wins.
