Free agency/Draft aside, who do you think steps up big time this coming season and why? (For the sake of this being a diverse conversation, let's leave Trevor out of it I think most of us expect him to improve)
For me it's easy, Tyson Campbell. He was our best rookie by seasons end and showed some real skill and not only that, dude has the size and speed to boot.
Honorable mentions: Walker Little & Andre Cisco

I really hope him and JR come back to 100%..

Agreed with Marty, in part because of the phrasing of the question.
If healthy, Etienne has the potential to be a star in Pederson's offense.
But I also think guys like Little and Cisco could ascend into starting roles and become very solid contributors.
I also think Trevor lawrence will see a boost in his performance, though it could be mited based on the surrounding talent they do or do not give him. But the coaching alone should make him better.

I think if anything is going to help #16 it's Doug Pederson. Totally agree.
given the OP took TLaw out of the question, if it isn't Walker Little, we're in deep doo-doo, especially if we go into and come out of this darft thinking he's the future of our line.
Josh Allen. It's time for him to take the big leap to superstar.
Brandon Scherff will have a Pro Bowl type year, even tho he may not be selected.

I agree with Campbell, Little, and Cisco.
Unfortunately, as a result of Etienne's injury, I'm expecting something that resembles a TJ Yeldon output

I'm curious what part of Etienne's game you guys saw in College that makes you think he would have had success even without his linsfranc.

You have to be kidding. Is that a serious question?
Production plus talent. Speed, acceleration, home run hitting ability, and massive production.
Watch his college highlight reel, and note the acceleration.

Yet he lasted to our pick?
I just don't see it and I've watched the highlights. I see defenses in dime or nickel with zone coverages, never run attack schemes, when he makes those "home runs". They were playing to stop Trevor. Etienne was an afterthought.

That's mainly due to positional value and not his talent level.
Etienne and I think Dan Arnold has a career year. Campbell on defense as well as Cisco
It better be Kirk with how much we paid him.

Why is everybody all over that Christian Kirk contract? I don't think he's in the top 12 wide receivers in the league pay wise. And by this time next year he won't even be paid in the top 20.

Yeah well so what? You're saying he scored all those touchdowns because defenses weren't paying attention to him. so if the defense plays to stop Trevor, Etienne scores a touchdown? What's wrong with that?
Besides, if they were in zone coverage like you said, they should have seen him the entire time.
So that doesn't hold water.

He was 9th highest when he got the deal, and he has yet to be even a top 30 or 40 (and that's being generous) receiver in the sport.

He was 24th in yards last year
I think it will be Little. Going from Taylor’s level of play to just above average will make our line look significantly better.
Just to throw out a name we don’t hear much. I think Daniel Thomas could make an impact while Jenkins is recovering. I just have a feeling he will keep the job and might even look really good. He is a really good compliment to an instinctive ball hawk like Cisco.
