Quote:So every kid you've talked to feels EXACTLY like you do, but they've picked up on it on their own by people whitewashing and making excuses for Trump, and not your end of civilization as we know it, he's gonna start a nuclear war, worse than Hilter schtick you've got going on. Yeah...I'm totally sure that has nothing to do with it. Rolleyes

No. Kid's just hear HOW he talks and it appalls them. At least every kid I have talked to. Most teens I have talked to also have a low opinion of him. It's not very scientific, but I have found the YouTube video "Kids React to Donald Trump" to be pretty accurate. Even the little girl who starts out the video saying she "loves Donald Trump," says "that's SO mean!" minutes later. On no planet is how he speaks diplomatic or socially acceptable. But since he has been doing it for so long (largely uncontested by interviewers and moderators), it has become accepted by his supporters. It's an embarrassment that we would consider a president who carries himself that way, but I'm sure you disagree or excuse his behavior.
If you call pointing out the bigotry and sexism in his own words a "shtick", there really isn't anything you won't defend about der fuhrer.

Quote:Just a question. What would happen if a presidential candidate died? Is the election postponed or is a new candidate just elected?

If the death occurs between the election and the inauguration, the VP elect becomes president (Amendment 20).

If the death occurred before the election the party would have to pick a new candidate.

I'm not sure if individual states would be required to put him/her on the ballot, many have requirements that the candidates must be registered before a certain date. In any case presumably a vote for the deceased nominee would be a vote for that candidate's electors, who would then be free to vote for whoever they wanted, presumable the replacement candidate.

I honestly cannot stand to even look at that woman...much less hear her talk.  She makes me sick to my stomach.

I thought pneumonia required an extensive stay in the hospital...no?

This woman is so full of crap.

But to dems, it's delicious crap. No salt and pepper needed.

Extended rest is required for most cases, and in many instances, especially for someone older like Clinton, they hospitalize as a precaution.

The strand of pneumonia she's "suffering" from is part of the corrupticoccus pulmonari strand.  It has a tendency to flare up whenever there's a leak of more information around her family foundation.
She needs to rest alright...RIP

I'm not entirely convinced both of these candidates aren't really Kang and Kodos from The Simpsons.

Party rules are pretty consistent between the two major parties.  If the candidate withdraws or dies before the election, the party leadership would make the determination as to who the new nominee would be.  This leaves a thread of hope for Bernsters.
