The Dems, just like every other global leftist has been pushing this green energy crap for years. With Biden being a puppet front man, pretending to be in charge (so he can take all the heat, and why not? Everyone hates him already and nothing is going to change that) that way the puppet masters behind the scenes can push their radical agenda on to the rest of us. High gas prices play into their plans, that is why they are doing everything they can to make sure they stay high and go higher. They have ZERO interest in reducing gas prices because CLIMATE CHANGE!!  The left KNOWS that they can use "green energy" to control everyone and everything with MORE taxes that will NEVER DO ANYTHING TO CHANGE THE CLIMATE, EVER!!

Anyway, for one, most thinking people KNOW that the climate has been changing since day one BILLIONS of years ago. This planet has seen every kind of climate from a snowball earth all the way to the other extreme. But somehow, in the last 150 years HUMANS are causing catastrophic change that puts the actual billion year old planet in danger, LOL... I have one question? What is the ideal climate supposed to be? And who gets to decided that?

The left is going to use this administration to move this country and indeed the world in a leftwards direction, regardless of who it hurts. They stole the election because Trump exposed ALL the turds in D.C as inept puppets that do not give a crap about YOU or this country and they just will not accept that. What you want does not matter, WHAT YOU WANT DOES NOT MATTER... What is good for this country does not matter. The American Middle Class is the last barrier that stands in their way to form their eutopia.

I apologize for not really delving deeper into this, but I am sure others can step in and fill in the blanks.
In other news: water is wet.
No, they're not doing it on purpose. Pushing gas prices higher is a great way to lose elections. They're not that stupid.

They are between a rock and a hard place. If they allow the USA to freely produce gasoline from crude oil, then they are a traitor to their ideology. If they don't, then they risk losing elections. For better or worse, they are ideologues, albeit for things that they are invested in long term, so they are going to go that route and hope that they can win elections some other way. I'll let you fill in the blanks on their ways and means in that arena. So, yeah, I would respectfully disagree with you, and say that they are indeed doing this on purpose.
I do believe it's deeper than gas prices. What we are starting to experience and likely heading deeper into is an inflationary period meant to devalue the dollar. Higher fuel, energy consumer goods and a devalued dollar opens the door to higher dependency on the state and eventually a replacement of the dollar as the global trade standard.

so no I don't believe the democrats are solely doing this on purpose. I believe
Globalist across the political spectrum are doing this. Leàst you forget trump spent as much as anyone in office it's the spending by our government over the last few decades leading to this inflation we are only beginning to see

My advise if you can start putting away non perishable goods now do it, the cost of goods are going to rise even more soon. If you have the ability to plant a garden even a small one do it, anything you can do or learn now that will help reduce your dependency on buying necessities over the next few years will be helpful.
What's the ideal climate supposed to be?
How about one where the Dew Point or Wet Bulb temperature never gets so high that human lungs literally stop working correctly and people overheat and die?
Humans can survive 130F in death valley as long as the dew point is below 95F.
However in India and Pakistan we are extremely close to a climate that is literally unlivable outdoors for weeks at a time. Other places may follow if we don't start reducing CO2 emissions and doing a better job of capturing what's already out there.

So...climate change.

The concern is all the CO2 in the atmosphere acting as a greenhouse and heating up the planet.  But where is the CO2?  CO2 based on its specific gravity of 1.5 is heavier than nitrogen (.97) and oxygen (1.1).  Nitrogen is 78% of the atmosphere, oxygen 21%. With the exception of some diffusion effects, the CO2 should be closer to the ground than either of those gases.  Therefore, it's more likely to be recaptured and brought back to earth deposited in streams and oceans by atmospheric pressure and storms.  As the planet heats, more moisture will fill the atmosphere, creating the conditions for more and stronger storms, hurricanes, etc.  However, the CO2 will eventually be returned to earth.  The difference between rate and volume of return to earth vs. the rate and volume of dispersal into the atmosphere is the critical factor here.  But to say that we are going to reach this level of unlivable dew point is speculation at best.  Storms will take care of this, which is potentially a whole nother issue.  One positive by-product of this will be that deserts could end up being fertile again.

This assumes no major volcanic activity.  If that happens, then the earth as a whole cools a bit depending on the activity level.  Which may not be ideal for the moment, but again, the earth will adjust.

Chemical reactions are required for the CO2 to return to the ocean or ground.  Those reactions get faster with more CO2, but not fast enough to reverse the climate changing effect.  It's like a bathtub where the faucet is running and the drain is partially clogged.  Yes there is water flowing down the drain.  Yes that flow speeds up the greater the water level in the tub.  But if you don't turn the faucet off, the level in the tub will keep going up.

There's a group of economists who've long said that the key strategy to fixing the national debt is to hyper-inflate the dollar to make 27 Trillion a reducible amount. Of course that strategy is dependent on the ability to reduce spending while increases tax collection, so we know that the only thing that's really going to happen is economic recession as we get more government spending, more national debt, and reduced private sector economic activity. The Country really is run by a clown show.
“Millions of everyday Democrats know the truth — the truth about Biden driving America into a ditch, the truth about the horrors of woke, the lunacy of this transsexual voodoo, the extremism of partial-birth abortion, the failure of Democrat-run cities, the madness of open borders, the fact that Democrats have failed black America and have done so deliberately… But sometimes, others have to speak a truth before the rest of us wake up and say, “Yeah, I feel the same way.”

Democrats have already lost Virginia, lost numerous school board races in blue areas, and almost lost New Jersey. Since those earth-shattering results, things have only gotten worse. Democrats have only exposed themselves as more incompetent, extreme, perverted, and unreasonable.”

I have thought for a long time that our only way out of our government debt problem would be inflation.  The problem is, if it's not done carefully, the side effects are catastrophic.  Certainly 8% is overdoing it.

And yet the alternative is the GOP which gets the same results while pretending they have different goals.

If that's the plan then 8% is a drop in the bucket they'll need to get it to double digits to start chipping away at 27 trillion.  Won't hurt them it'll destroy the common man however.

Well, that is why we need to weed out and un-elect the RINO’s. It’s happening, albeit slowly. Still better than voting for any Democrats.

Well, 27 trillion times 8% is 2.16 trillion.  They've lowered the debt in real terms in one year by over 2 trillion dollars.  It's a neat trick, if you believe they are doing it on purpose, which I don't.  Of course, I'm not taking into account the deficit for this year, which adds money back to the debt.

But inflation has always been good for people who are in debt, and bad for people with savings.  And the US government is the biggest debtor on the planet.

It's a little more dangerous and  complicated than that.
US Treasury bills are constantly rolling over, and the new bills will have higher interest rates than the old ones.

Aye, that's the rub.
