Watching the World Cup Women's Skeleton in Switzerland and I believe these women either have balls of steel or they're completely mental. Who else goes down an ice slide, head first on a sled at top speeds in excess of 135kph wearing only a helmet as protective gear.
Balls of steel or completely mental.

I imagine it's quite an adrenaline rush so long as you keep the sled under you.

I suppose, but when they wipe out it can be quite chaotic and not worth it in my opinion. I don't know the stats on crashes vs crossing the finish line but they're not good enough.

Crashing is certainly inspiration to git gud. Much like velodrome, even TDF, when you see a pileup you wonder why in the world anyone would subject themselves to that chaos and risk. Passion makes you forget.

How about the new bat design the Yankees are using? 15 HRs in the first 3 games.

While Judge is still out there smashing homers, makes for a deadly team.
