So the Jaguars dumped both Shenault and Treadwell just on the hope that a wide receiver might get cut from some other team?  What if no one good is cut?

These GMs and coaches know each other. Have worked with or for each other.

They make deals.

Jags FO may know what's coming down the pike
The only time it's nice to have first waiver priority.

Treadwell doesn't go to waivers, just bought a house in Jax 1010 said so if we want, I'm sure he'd come back too

....we re-sign Treadwell? We panic, and trade a fifth to Carolina to get Shenault back? Or maybe we just consider the season a loss, and begin scouting WR in the 2023 darft.

"Nice to not get that call" plus he was injured last season of which I was clueless of. I pray that he makes a difference.

Time Will Tell.

We’re all rooting for you Tim. Dude has been ballin. It didn’t take long for the local media to be all over this guy.
Yeah I was clueless that he was even on the team last year lol. None the less, pretty awesome story. I think he will ball this year.
There's so much hope surrounding this team now..

Just don't know how to act..

As a Southern Miss fan let me tell you what there is to know about Tim…
1. He’s not a talker
2. He quietly catches most everything thrown his way
3. He’s not afraid of contact and blocks well
4. He catches fish almost as well as footballs so I’m sure he’s loving Jacksonville lol.

Seriously though. The kid is a workhorse with none of the typical WR “diva” traits.

Oh absolutely!!

I was really hoping we weren't going to dismiss his efforts his preseason and last years pre season. The guy deserves an opportunity... if nothing else. Kid earned it.

OK, now I want to see a practice vid where Trevor rifles a catfish on a ten yard curl, and Tim one-hands the grab while keeping both feet inbounds.

What a coincidence, the most legendary Jaguars wide receiver of all time was also a fisherman.  Unfortunately, he was suspended for possession of cocaine.  Yes, I'm speaking of the one and only Matt Jones.
There's plenty of Love from Jaguar Fans to Mr. Tim Jones. Let us digest his on the field performances to which will justify his 53 Man Roster Status.

Time Will Tell.

I thought you were talking about J-smooth at first.

Be hopeful. We’ve been through so much nonsense the last 20 years that we deserve a warm fuzzy feeling!
I’m just glad the coaches finally seen what we seen in TJones.

This team needs to play their first game the way the '17 jags played theirs, fast and ready to win. If they do that then I believe this team can compete for a playoff spot

finally seen?

he had no 2021 preseason and languished on the PS all last year. This August was the first time any of us seen anything from him.

I'm curious where you either had foreknowledge to know he was going to be good at this level or where the team failed to act based on that established knowledge.
