This was one of the worst halfs of football I've seen

Meyer didn't know JRob was on the roster when they took ETN.

Fair point. When you're right, you're right.

Let me correct myself: "Given that he was drafted to be a receiving back to complement Carlos 'Best Runningback in the League' Hyde, I'm not sure Etn dropping two passes in the red zone makes things better. Undecided "
Typical Jags half, the only positive is we are at least getting the ball up the field and it's the final part that is letting us down. Should definitely have at least one TD.

Lol

Yes, history shows that as long as we are patient with the Jags, they will surely turn it around.

I think this preseason was a pretty good indication it was gonna be another season.

Yea but I had the new season hope for about 15 min. Today that has been handled now.

Didn't watch much last year I take it?

What have you seen so far to make that statement with any confidence?
Really frustrating to only have 3 points but we are moving the ball some on offense. Gotta make the plays when it really counts.

And you’re an idiot who is most likely 16 years old who doesn’t realize how incompetent this franchise really is. Enjoy it, I used to be the same way buddy.

This comment is actually gold. You have temper tantrums and mood swings like a prepubescent child and you're gonna say I'm 16 years old?
Somewhere Urban Meyer is laughing

Lol, it's funny because it's probably 100% accurate.
The only real positive is it can't get much worse right?....right?

Rodney Dangerfield. Even Georgia Costanza got a win getting the job with the Yankees.
Someone brought up Miami, it looks like he had all day to throw the ball and their receivers catch the ball and the QB is not constantly under pressure. once he has a line that can block for him, he'll be ok

We had a kicker. Was perfect at practice and in the one preseason game he played. Then he was cut for thus loser.

We haven't turned it over yet. So, yeah it can.
I'm interested to see what kind of adjustments Pederson and company make. I wasn't going to be surprised if we lost but I am surprised they're looking THIS inept. If they play competitively in the second half after adjustments at least that may bode well for later in the season.

And let me say, potential aside, Jags don't have their best QB in the game at this point.
Frustrating first half of football. It's still technically a game. It just doesn't feel like it because we're the Jaguars.

Lawrence has been off with his accuracy but he's also been faced with a lot of pressure. Left some points on the board with the Zay Jones drop and Travis Etienne drop.

Here's what I am hoping for. Need a turnover on defense or a three and out on the 2nd half possession. Want to see a comittment made to the running game. Want to see it in the endzone.

I also want to see them go for two and make it a 14 - 11 game. Puts pressure on Wentz and their offense to score points on their next drive. Caldwell needs to dial up some pressure. Outside rush isn't there. Time to start running stunts inside.

Maybe that's what we need to do. The exact opposite of what we normally would.
