Nice. I’m totally looting your house.
Hey, that happened to me once.
Well, it was actually a divorce, but it's basically the same thing.
The Weather Channel and other reports are saying now that the storm may hit as a near/possible Category 5 storm. And that it will probably impact pretty much all of Florida. Late last night, they were talking about potential catastrophic storm surges, flooding and tornadoes. Weather Channel was saying the surges could be anywhere from 6 to 12 ft in some places. People that are still in Florida definitely need to be careful. If you're in a situation where you can still evacuate you may need to do that, depending on where you're at. I also believe that people will lose power for multiple days, so be as prepared as you can for that.
I can remember growing up and experiencing hurricanes like Bertha/Fran and can remember the impact of that and losing power being out of school etc... And of course, there was the devastating impact from other Hurricanes like Katrina. People definitely need to be smart and safe. If I had currently been in Florida, I would have evacuated.
Still hours away and you can just feel something wicked coming our way
I feel for the people that bought my house. Last hurricane we flooded and got water in the house. I hope they have flood insurance.
