LOL
With 45 yards at halftime, and 117 yards in the 2nd half before the last drive.
However, it wasn’t on Lawrence today. That secondary got a wake up call today. Griffin just can’t turn and run. Campbell got sliced up too.
Pittman, Jackson, Campbell, and Pierce had a
combined 319 yards receiving and 2 TDs.
Lawrence didn’t lose the ballgame today, but he didn’t do enough to win it.
They all but ran the same 3 plays and our Defense couldn't do anything about it. Absolutely pathetic showing by this Defense.

Oh save me with the bull [BLEEP]. The kid did exactly what he had to do to win the game. The Defense [BLEEP] blew it.

All defense today. The penalties. The lack of pass rush. They sat back and took it. Ryan had a CAREER day. He's in like year 100 or some [BLEEP]. No excuses for today's secondary play.
Running game showed up. Lawence showed up. Defense didn't. At all. They talked all that [BLEEP]. Walker, was it not? Yeah. Reality check today buddy.

The Jags are not a bad football team.
No pressure on Matt Ryan will result in a loss. If he stays clean he can beat you, and with no pressure directly up the middle Ryan didn't have to move AT ALL.
I'm ready for next week...but I really think the Jags need to try and sign Suh to get push up the defensive middle, and use the first pick next year on a DT.
(10-16-2022, 04:14 PM)NewJagsCity Wrote: [ -> ]Lawrence had a much better 2nd half. 3TD's in total. Insane completion rate. No turnovers. Scored more than the shutout game. ETN with 86 yards rushing. D just folded.
Prior to the final drive of the game, Lawrence had 72 more passing yards than he had in the 1st half.
But this one wasn’t on him. Defense got a wake up call from the 7th all time passing yards leader.
Gotta get Griffin up outta there.

Griffin was poor today, but giving Matt Ryan no pressure up the middle is a recipe for failure.
0 sacks? Against Matt Ryan? Come on now.
lol, we lost again?
oh boy... I told myself... I KNEW IT.... This team is not ready yet... Oh well, next year maybe...7 wins would be generous at this point...
Good thing the Tacks are on a bye, otherwise, we'd be even further out of 1st place.

No DT means you're a bad football team. You have to have that on your team

Probably shouldn't teach your young son to be a quitter.
you must be a new fan…
Saw the first half, and missed the 2nd because of work. Kinda glad I didn't witness the meltdown. I'm just dumbstruck that they really dominated with the eye test in the first half and then all of a sudden the Colts score 20+ points in the 2nd half. What did I miss?!? How did this meltdown happen?!?

Yep. He led a clutch drive and his defense let him down

They quit running the ball. Then they couldn't stop Ryan from passing in the middle of the field.

Pretty simple. We ran the ball. We stopped the run. We lost the game.
Well damn Trevor sure sucks at Defense. Why did he lead us back too soon? What a moron. LOL Chris Jackoff Boy, you’re a freaking moron.

Yeah. #16 got [BLEEP] TOASTED all day today. I think it was #26 that actually completed 98% of his passes today and scored three times.

We didn't abandon the run. The run did great. We also stopped the run. We followed the tried-and-true model to win a game, but still lost #becausejags.

Ultimately it worked. They took the lead late. Defense just couldn't get after Ryan to save their lives and the times they did it was just a hair too late. Allen nearly forced a pick before they went and scored to win the game.
