He doesn't do this and if he is going to be good, he has to learn to do it. If you are in shotgun, the DEs are rushing to that point and it leaves lanes open if you step inside their wide rush.

If he would look to step up and/or run forward into the lane left by the DE it would create a huge plays with his legs and then force them to change their rushing to containment.

He's not as fast as either of those but he's still very fast for a RB.  There might not be a back in the league today that's as fast as MJD or Taylor was
