He's doing plenty of stuff that doesn't show up on the stat sheet. Teams are noticing him and are making it a point to throw double teams his way. What's more concerning is that Allen isn't taking advantage of that and being more effective.
I would kick him inside at least on passing downs. He's a smaller Calais Campbell.

Remember when Cambell came out they made him play 34 DE because he didn't have the speed or moves to play outside. It wasn't until 10 years in the league he was ready to play outside.

Campbell has nothing but a bullrush right now. Move him inside and watch him collapse the pocket.

I made a thread saying Caldwell can't coach...

They did line him up inside a little bit more when Foley was out.

I'm am bit worried. Two games with running/scrambling QB's and the either the scheme didn't work on them, or the players couldn't execute it. Both are worrisome. Not a true trend yet, and it is his first season, but it is major issue on the defense. Not as big as QB pressure.

I agree. Especially with the speed they have. Allen and Walker are no slouches athletically and Lloyd can also fly to the ball so there's an issue with containment, coaching or lack of execution. They have more QBs coming up that will do that this year as well.
