There's that one consistent thing about reposting information on a social media message board. If you repost what's actually been posted. It's criticized. If you deviate from said posting, you're criticized and that's O.K. We ALL have that right. We all have our own personal opinions of what "ripping" is.

Ones "ripping" comes via. many different levels. As suttle as J-Robs comments were (look at his history of Not Complaining the past three-four years) as he mentioned, which is true, that it feels good to go from a losing team to a winning team. Don't quote me, quote J-Rob. He originally denied his injury, soreness whatever you want to call it but now has acknowledged it in a suttle way as being an excuse from Pederson. NEVERTHELESS, J-Rob is no longer a Jaguar. We have no choice but to move on. Can we do it?

Time Will Tell.

NH3...

Dude, that ain't ripping. Saying you left a team with a pootastic record for one with a decent one? dang, bring the fire, James.

MJJ saying he knew Urbz had no idea what he was doing 2 weeks into offseason, that's a rip.

yes he will play

5 for 17 and carried the spectre of losing with him to NY

3/ypc sure miss that...
We’ll see what happens. It could very well be that this current regime that didn’t draft him had a very good handle on what they had in him and shipped him for something rather than waiting 2 years for maybe a compensatory pick.

It could also be that they valued metrics over game performance and sold him low. We’ll find out which it was in time, but doing victory laps on 5 carries when he’d been in their building less than a week is a bit premature.

Agreed. I think if anything his value just went up going into their next game because the Jets clearly saw yesterday that you can't put the game on Zach Wilson yet. Three ugly interceptions in that game.

It was Carter and Hall that got you into that 5 - 2 record. Not Zach Wilson. So, fully expect them to get it back on track the next game with Robinson getting the full workload he's been honestly overdue for in 2022.

This team didn't really give him that chance. He might get better as the game goes on.

...wasn't that about what he was doing here? minimal carries, minimal yards. not doing a victory lap, but all the bellyaching on this thread may have been exceptionally over the top.

I think it's more about what Etienne showed when the full load was placed on his shoulders.
Robinson getting traded felt like a gut punch, just because he was my favorite player since he got here. But it makes sense after seeing how good ETN is.

Just because Etienne is great doesn't mean it was a good idea to trade JRob.  Why wouldn't you want a very good backup?  Obviously his knee is messed up which he denied before being traded.  Looks like it was true

No I agree, but I think the idea was that he'd be leaving in the offseason, so get something while you can.

If that was the feeling, then trading him now makes sense.  It's not like we were contending for a playoff spot, but I'm REALLY getting tired of endlessly building for next year.

It's only been a decade and a half. Have patience! Big Grin

Dave?  Is that you?
Good to see he did well yesterday; go ahead TD reception and a hard earned 13 for 48 in the win over the mighty Bills.

I think we sold high. He's a high effort guy who's starting to wear down. He might give the Jets another good year, but getting a pick is great value, especially considering he was undrafted and gave the team his prime years.

He's 24, I don't think he's wearing down.  He has a knee injury

He already has 1 go ahead game winning TD in the short time he has been there.  Still 6 weeks to go, looks like they are making sure they don't have to give up the higher draft pick.

You can just say you were wrong.

He was a healthy scratch last week.

So is he killing it or not?

Like i said, it's clear they don't want to give up the higher draft pick.  Clear as day lol.  When the higher draft pick is out of reach then he plays
