Arizona and Nevada have the most idiotic process !!! [BLEEP]
The Recorder’s office in maricopa county is currently occupied by a Republican. They don’t have a “supervisor of elections” title but the responsibility falls to his department.

The election process, machine testing and reporting all need a serious overhaul in Arizona and probably an investigation as well and this guy probably needs to be replaced based on the failures, but I’d hold off on the cheating allegations for a few. Let’s wait for more info and more results. And no, I don’t trust the far left with anything let alone election integrity.
Why can all the states count their votes in a timely manner, but AZ, CA and NV seemingly cannot? I know they have 30 days, but if they are interested in hushing the 'stolen election' crowd, then they will come up with a better system than what they seem to have. CA is blaming it on mail in votes, mail-in votes enroute, and making sure they get the tabulation right. But again, lots of states have mail in votes and early voting, and they are timely. Are we to believe that they have only counted 50% so far because of this? Their system needs an overhaul.
Sorry…I had to fix the title of your thread. I just couldn’t handle it any longer.  Undecided

There are thousands of folks on some sort of welfare who are employed and employed by the very business that were shut down during the [BLEEP] show we call a pandemic. There are also thousands who don't work and definitely should not have benefitted. Hell, most of us here probably shouldn't have gotten checks.

Don't pretend Trump is the only one who handed out checks. If Congress hadn't agreed it wouldn't have happened.

As for Trump being divisive I agree 1000% but to say the leftists aren't just because they're not one man at the top making a lot of noise is a dangerous way to think. Trump didn't burn, riot and loot cities across the nation, the crazy leftists did and they did so without objection from the democrat party. In fact, you had some encouraging the behavior.

You want that kind of crazy making decisions for this country that's fine. Keep voting democrat. You will deserve whatever comes of it, the rest of us not so much.

The biggest reason Trump is divisive is because we live in a society of people who were raised on their feelings. Their feelings mean more than anything and if anyone hurts their feelings they're going to throw tantrums and make fools of themselves.

How do silence a guy like Trump? You ingore him.

Wrong.  How do 81 million people silence a guy like Trump?  They vote against him.

Yet he's still out there doing his thing. Not as POTUS for sure, but he's still getting under people's skin.

If people had not reacted to his foolishness when he was POTUS he wouldn't have been provoked to react to them. Yes, he should be an adult and keep his mouth shut but all the folks clapping back at him should have done the same. People like him can't stand down for whatever reason so it's up to the reasonable people to blow him off and give him nothing to work with.
He's not going to go away. He's going to torpedo every other potential Presidential contender.

Yesterday he was bragging that he got a million more votes in Florida for President than DeSantis got for Governor.

Holy crap! I had no idea this dude suffered a stroke so I looked it up. He had it in May and had trouble articulating during his one and only debate. Someone in his camp said he has good people around him who will help him do his job.

What? How can someone who is literally at least partially mentally incapacitated even be allow to run for office? Oh wait.... Bidet answers that.

Yes, the past 6 years would have been totally different if they took into consideration mental capacity as a requirement to run for President or other Political Offices.  Chris Christie would now be serving his 2nd term.  SHUT DOWN THE NJ TURNPIKE LANES !!!  TOO FUNNY !!!

He calls himself a republican but at best he is a Lincoln republican never trumper and realistically he is a RINO joining McCarty and Graham in some after hours stuff.

He also had his bills paid by his parents into his 30s. I don't think he has ever had a real job and the city he was mayor of went downhill fast and became a lot worse than it was before him.

His wife is also an illegal who married him and somehow magically got to stay here even though she didn't marry him until well after she had overstayed her visa. Normally it takes a while to get visas for a spouse or engagement and no chance if you are illegal.

U forgot chasing down a black guy with a shotgun....

Every commercial should have been about Ahmad aubery
Looks like Trump threw a hissy fit on Truth Social directed towards Disantis. Grab ya popcorn!
Trump knows what he's doing here. The media, who has been silencing trump will now amplify his message about DeSantis. Enjoy your popcorn. It's manufactured.
Puts the media in an interesting position IMHO. Especially the left leaning ones. Do they amplify Trump's statements regarding DeSantis if they both end up running for President or do they stay silent and let FOX news handle all the dirty work and heavy lifting with that?

Either way. I don't really watch any of those networks. Will be interesting to see what kind of path DeSantis takes in response to Trump. There's a few things Trump did on his way out of the office that left some sour grapes on the table for a decent amount of his following.

DeSantis still has my vote though.
The media manufactures then breathlessly covers feuds between Selena and Hailey.
Of course they're going to cover a feud between Trump and DeSantis. There is no grand political strategy here, at least not by the media. The media wants eyeballs so they can sell ads. Maybe Trump has a grand strategy. The media doesn't. If you don't like what they're covering, change the channel.

I don't. I don't even have to change the channel. I just don't tune in at all. I prefer independent writers, critical thinkers and grassroots journalism over anything FOX, CNN, CBS and NBC have to dish out politically and economically. Almost all of them have their hands in the cookie jar. And by cookie jar I mean the powers that be. The powers that fund and persuade our political parties and candidates for their own wants and needs.

The media always has a strategy though. Don't [BLEEP] yourself. Some of the media out there has had it's viewership and rankings tank in some instances and yet they're still pushing the same dribble and agenda. There's been plenty of evidence to support this. Both, politically and during war times. All the worlds a stage. Goes far beyond "selling ads" once you find out the Government and CIA have their own little plants inside this field of work.

I actually agree with you here although I do think the media have a political agenda. Everything is about drama because it sells. I personally hate it and don't bother with any of the news outside of trying to stay somewhat informed. Sometimes I can get caught up in the headlines though and have to consciously make the choice to stop looking at clickbait.

But yeah, the media is going to hype this with Trump and DeSantis. I do some care giving duties for my elderly neighbor and he is a staunch Fox Channel news viewer. Every time I go over to do chores I get to hear about the latest, and Wednesday they were gushing over how well DeSantis did in in FL and talked about how him and Trump could face off in 2024 as if it was going to be like gladiators in the Colosseum of Rome. They were definitely using words to stir the pot which I found to be unnecessary and ridiculous. It almost sounded cannibalistic. They were practically licking their chops at the prospect of it all.

I despise opinion "news" that dives into sensationalism and pretty much all the outlets do it.

Selena and Hailey, LOL. Our culture has devolved into mindless idiots. No wonder practically anyone can get elected these days, including dead people and the incapacitated. I'm just waiting for the day when one of the Kardashians runs for office. The fall of the American Empire will be close to complete by then.
I think we are going to see Fox News lean toward DeSantis. That alone may further set Trump off the rails.

The Wall Street Journal and the New York Post are already lining up against Trump.  Those are both Murdoch properties.  So there is some speculation that Murdoch is done with Trump and that we will see the effects of that on Fox News.
People who support Trump appreciate his pugnacity. DeSantis has that same quality without the childish outbursts and oversized ego. His replacement has been found.

Listening to Brian Kilmeade today, several callers said they voted for Trump twice but are now throwing their support behind DeSantis because they’re tired of Trump’s antics.
