Jones. 7 games (injury), 4-3
Wilson. 7 games (injury), 5-2
Lance. 2 games (injury), 1-1
The Jets with Wilson are clearly the turnaround story of that draft. Is he laughing with Simms for getting it right? Or laughing because he’s a moron and pretending that Simms was somehow wrong despite the Jets’ performance?
Oh, and as a bonus, Lawrence’s performance is against the easiest schedule by far in the league. And still just three wins.
Really? That’s the stat hill you wanna die on?
The jets have been winning in spite of Wilson, not because of him. Simms so far is wrong.
Career winning percentage can be a useful stat but also can be deceiving.
Also the jags do not have the easiest by far schedule in the league. Google is a powerful tool that can prevent you from looking like a moron; let me help you:

Wins. Are. Not. A. QB. Stat.
But hey, if you like Wilson so much: Go be a Jets fan. We really won't mind. I'm sure you'll enjoy his more INT's than TD's and his 55% completion percentage.
just pray he don't have to play in wind, right?
compare Mac's stats to his, I think they were playing in the same weather.

The Jets despite Wilson are the turnaround story of the season or maybe it's the Giants despite Jones.
The 2021 draft wasn't very strong apparently. Wilson is looking like a bust, Mac Jones won't ever be great(but could be a mid-level starter for years) and I almost forgot about Lance. I don't even think about him anymore.
If you ask around the league and fans everyone seems to agree Fields is the real deal. Lawrence not so much but at least it doesn't sound like he's a bust so far and I think most people here think he's improving lately.

Wilson has probably been the least impressive of this group in year two. He has the same exact staff in place from last year.
Everybody else is pretty much in a new offensive system or completely new staff in year two already.
By far though. From a pure passing, pocket presence? Lawrence >>>>> Everybody else.

Fields is looking good. More poised, like he's getting the offense and is comfortable, and the game is slowing. Wilson may be on the chopping block by next year. Jets are going to be impatient now that they have a solid D and the GMen have had a resurgence. Gotta keep up with the Joneses; in this case, literally.
100% agreed with Wilson and the Jets. They're now 4th in the AFC East. It's a closely contested race now with Miami and Buffalo but either one of those teams an injury or two away from stalling.
New England will always figure out a way to coach themselves out of a hole or into a level of competency. I could see the Jets giving up on Wilson fast going into next year. Depending on what happens in San Francisco.
Jimmy Garoppolo would be an interesting fit over there from the West coast to the East coast. Already has ties with Saleh to an extent. They run a very similar, run heavy based offense. Jimmy knows how to navigate through all of that.
Heinicke I think is a free agent as well if Washington doesn't resign him.

Yea that stings. Where is that tool Chris Simms saying how Wilson was the best QB in their draft class ahead of Lawrence?
People miss all the time on draft picks and I think Simms has walked it back a ton lately.
But to still pick Wilson over Lawrence at this point makes someone an absolute troll.
Lol are people really touting Zach Wilson now? Jesus christ I was skeptical of Trevor in that draft but I still would have taken him over Zach Wilson lmao.

the only qb with a winning record this season on that list is mac jones. Patriots don't have tom Brady anymore, and they are still winning. Thats a top head coach for you. Jags still can't win with a decent HC Unforttantly.

it also helps having the same system in place for like 20 years. and i am talking about the defense. they aren't winning cause of offense they are winning cause of defense and special teams.

2 of the Jets Wins are Joe Flaccos.
So maybe that roster is pretty good. Especially the defense.... Wilson stinks and seems to be a but of a punk. Taking no fault for that stinkfest where they scored a total of 3 points.
Whatever though Mrs Wilson

Patriots have a lot of really good players. We only have a few. Until we acquire more we won't win much. It's pretty simple.

In the 5 wins the Jets have with Wilson as their starter, Wilson has thrown 2 WHOLE PASSING TDS. Just to put it in perspective, Corey Davis has 1 passing TD. Defense and special teams has 1 TD during those wins too.
The Jets are clearly winning without Wilsons help. He just lets the defense and Breece Hall (before injury) do the work.
Heh. So every team that is out-performing the Jags is doing it despite their QB? And the Jags (along with the Bears according to NewJagsCity) are failing despite their great QBs? Yeah, I’m the guy with the bad take.

The Jaguars have lost 5 games so far this season in which they were tied or held the lead in the fourth quarter. In several of those games Trevor had to lead a TD drive to get the team to that lead or that tie during the fourth quarter.
I get that you're a troll, but Trevor has played well enough to win more than three times this year, which is why wins are a team stat, not a QB stat.
